We don't even know which Sub-Zero we're playing as, but it Kuai comes back, I'd prefer the scar comes from the automation process.

I hope Kuai gets the redemption he deserves. He (along with countless others, mind you) got royally screwed thanks to Raiden, the asshat.

I'll say the scar either comes from a battle with Scorpion or as punishment for something from Quan Chi.

I hope its Bi-Han....I prefer an antihero Sub-zero, unless Kuai's going that direction too. Hell, everyone from MK might as well go that direction.

I for one hope it is Kuai Liang. He IS the Sub Zero to me, albeit Bi-Han was the first, KL was the one who progressed throughout the MK story and background became rich so to speak. Bi-Han became Noob Saibot but for the longest time was a shrouded mystery for the most part until MK:D i believe.

Anyway if it is KL i hope he has the scar as well and if he does have an unmasked alternate, I would like it to be with the primary costume with a neck piece that covers up the side of his cheeks but leaving his mouth and face uncovered.

At 1:40 if you pause it, the blood splatter makes a straight line over Sub's right eye, essentially looking like his scar from the original timeline, which i think was NRS hinting at this is Kuai Liang

He gets his scar in the comic.

And I've been searching for MK9 images, but did Kuai Liang have his scar in MK9? I know his MK3 costume did, but did his other costumes? Edit: Never mind. He didn't.

If it is Kuai Liang in MKX, hopefully we will find out if he gets the scar in story-mode.

I'd like to see the unmasked costume design from MKDA being revamped and him looking old.

Y'know...I think we're getting Bi-Han, Kuai Liang AND a new Sub-Zero for the part of the story that takes place in the far future.

All of the different dialogue and the statements said about him never point in which specific one it'll be and Boon still keeps maintaining it's a new one.

IK this is gonna sound stupid, but there's more than 1 sub zero?!?! I thought the whole time hes the same person?

In Mortal Kombat 1, we had the elder Sub-Zero, Bi-Han. He was killed by Scorpion during the tournament. This is also the one who appears in the spinoff prequel game, MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero.

From MKII up until MK Armageddon, the active Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang, Bi-Han's younger brother.

Bi-Han himself was reborn in the netherealm as Noob Saibot (which was revealed in MK Deception, prior to that, Noob had been an original character).

So there have always been two. MK2011's story mode shows Bi-Han's death and resurrection as Noob, and Kuai Liang taking up the mantle before being turned into a cyborg.

It's more like 24 double pages (all of them are double sized pannels), but it's really cool so far, thankfully it's a weekly comic and we don't need to wait too much.
