Maybe he defended his brother against the accusations as well?

Sub saying "our innocence" definitely has me scratching my head. We'll see I guess, but if the fusion thing is true, that definitely leaves me at a loss for where the hell we're suppose to be in the timeline now.
Fuck yeah.

.
The 2 emblems seem to be a game feature. Notice how when he has de knives or the white mask he only has one, and when he has 2, one of them glows.
This is similar to how Scorpion has either glowing hands, swords or the summon amulet on his belt but never the 3 at tge same time so I think the 2 emblems are relates to this game mechanic and not with fussions.
Also as previously noted, he says "I" not "We". If he's saying ours he's provably defending the brother too, though Ed tweetes the dialogue as "my".

That's my theory, anyways. The brothers have combined into one warrior and we will be able to play as traditional Sub and Noob through alternate characters, costumes etc.
He does say "I tire of maintaining OUR innocence". Also, has anyone noticed Sub has TWO separate symbols on his clothes?
Any thoughts?

Never thought of it that way. Good point, but looking at his appearance, there def seems to be some darkness to it.

I don't think he says our. I still hear Your innocence, but it can be debated.
If he does indeed say "our" then this is the Armageddon ending come true. Noob and Sub-Zero in one body (Dear God I hope this is not the case).
Or the other option
This is MK4. Say kuai somehow escaped Quan and now Quan has told Scorpion that Kuai is the one responsible for the murder not Bi-han just as in the MK4 timeline. Kuai would essentially be saying I'm tired of telling you that myself and bi-han are innocent of murdering your family.
My two theories.

No offense, but you, like previous others, are reading way too deep into this. Let's not forget that Scorpion's hatred isn't just towards Sub-Zero, but towards the Lin Kuei as a whole. Quan-Chi showed Scorpion a vision of the entire Lin Kuei clan slaughtering his people with Sub-Zero as the leader. So Sub-Zero saying "I tire of maintaining our innocence" is referring to both him and the Lin Kuei. Not him and his brother you predict may be fused within his body.
I don't mean to sound like a buzz kill, but I really can't wait for the premise of the story to be revealed so these Sub-Zero fusion/reincarnation/replacement theories can be laid to rest.

Yup. People's assumptions are getting out of hand.
Either way, Scorpion comes off as a colossal idiot.
And I do not think that they would be merged, the character of Noob, or more precisely the shuriken ninja template has been around: MK4 (Reiko, since they fucked up), MKD, MKA and MK9. And aside Scorpion who uses only one shuriken-type, we do not have any other character that does this.
Plus the whole black portal thingy.

I literally cannot believe that this wasn't peoples first thought. Maybe he defended his brother against the accusations as well?
Why people trying to hang on to the original Sub-Zero so intensely I'll never know.

I'm just thinking rational with what little info we have. It seems this game has literally turned people into conspiracy theorists.
I'm sure many of the questions will be answered over the next few days.

This. People are letting their theories and imaginations run crazy over Sub-Zero's reappearance in MKX. I'd honestly be pissed if it did turn out he was some weird Bi-Han/Kuai-Liang/Noob Saibot fusion, or if it were Hydro or Frost's male counterpart replacing him. Yes, someone actually mentioned that as being a possibility to Sub-Zero's return *facepalm*. Anyway, Ed Boon said we'd get new information for MKX every day of E3, so I'm hoping we get some news about the plot within that time.

Nope, this happens with every MK game. At least I've noticed this since MKvsDC.
It happened in MK9 too. People will not let go of Bi-Han being Sub-Zero even though he is now WELL established as a completely different character. The chat always makes me nervous too because I feel Kuai Liang is Sub-Zero and any changing it would ruin the characters.
