in the past mk games he has had several freeze moves on his rivals. but he has never had the freeze that has effected the enviorment. here are acouple ideas hope you enjoy.

fatality 1 sub zero freezes the whole ground which causes the oppponets legs to freeze. the opponet starts to scream which causes the screen to turn into blue mist. the fighter looks up and sees the ceiling turning into ice shards which then falls apon him, impaling him right in the head fatality.

fatality 2 subzero calls apon fujin to make the climate change, since the climate is altered sub zero blasts his freeze up into the clouds causing a blizzard which the opponet instantly freezes. while the opponet is frozen subzero kicks him shattering the frozen body everywhere.fatality.

moves that effect everything around sub zero
sub zero freezes the ground then uppercuts his opponet finding another level.

sub zero freezes the ceiling then uppercuts his opponet finding another level.

thats all i can think of right now. tell me what you think.

Interesting ideas.
The second Fatality you mentioned seems simialr to a tag team combo move I had in mind for Sub-Zero and Fujin. It'd be a case of Sub-Zero creates one of his icy blasts but doesn't throw it. Instead Fujin summons a strong wind of sorts to carry the particles around and freeze all in radius. It'd be more a move to freeze multiple opponents.
As for the rest, it would be nice to see some arena damage done by the characters (something I've mentioned ina thread before) and it'd be interesting for Sub-Zero to be able freeze the environment creating new paths and hazards during the fight. It'll be interesting to see if we get any of this in MK8, even on a minor scale.

Cool ideas, (no pun intended) lol

I noticed the 3D MK's Sub's freeze has less stun time which is good IMO

As for ways of shooting ice, hmm well he's done one thing the same in all MK's thus far.

Shoot it with both hands, he's never shot it from just one hand(not including MK2 fatality) as an actual move, I think they should change that personally so he shoots it from one hand like a wind up pitch-ice toss or something. Not necessarily like baseball but some kind of sling shot toss would be sick.

As for Fujin, huge wind lift that goes up and up and tosses his foe into the air and just splat onto the ground. Kind of like something from MK:Mythologies Sub-Zero where Fujin creates this huge ass wind tornado lol. That would be so cool.

Or perhaps have his weapon can be controlled with wind to impale his foes thrown by the wind but controlled by Fujingrin

if the sky temple would make a comeback it would be interesting if sub zero could freeze the rain in the enviorment to create hail that does minor damage to your opponnet. tell me what you think.

I think that it would be cool if he could freeze specific joints, causing the opponent to fall down, or he could freeze around an opponent's weapon, causing it to be too heavy to lift.tongue

Sub-Zero has some great ice abilities. He made an entire boat out of ice; his weapons are made out of ice... I wonder what else he could do....

Here's some of my ideas:
1. He puts his hand near the opponent (perhaps the mouth) and solidifies the ice inside their bodies, resulting in ice spikes erupting from his victim's body.

2. He goes that all-powerful ice move he "almost" pulled off in the MK1 movie, charges it up, freezing the entire environment, then shoots the ice ball, knocking them victim off their feet, freezing them in the air, and then shattering them when they hit the wall or the floor.

3. He freezes off limbs slowly, one at a time. The victim defiantly tries to strike him, only to watch their arms shatter with the punch, or their legs break with the kick. He then finishes them off by freezing the head and knocking it clean off.

4. Jason X liquid nitrogen style.... freeze the face, then smash it off.

cool. nice idea for the sub-zeros moves.in mk1 was the start of a famous move by sub-zero the zero ice blast. This is an idea i had stored until i was like a young 12 year old boy. This idea is called the fhidgea djdiehs(means ice dragon&ice god move.sub switchs into a dragon then he does the ice blast from his mouth then morps into a ice god then he enchants these names-siredy daheu meadja! then a of a sudden this ice starts to from inti multipes of ice shardes then a dragon the a a spear.dont bother to ask the end is more fun! SUB-ZERO WINS FALILTYYYYYYY

I like what I hear. It'd be cool if certain kombatants could affect the weather like that.
what about something simple? sub zero freezes the environment, forming shards in the ceiling, and uppercuts his opponent on one of the shard, and he forms a stalagmite of ice under it. the opponent falls down from the ceiling and is impaled (again) by the ice stalagmite.

That would be interesting, I was thinking along the lines of being able to freeze Scorpion's spear and yank him towards him as a countermove to his spear and Scorpion could melt the iceball coming at him with a straight raise from hell kind of fire so it doesn't connect, nulling those two moves.
