he's due for it! he has a great storyline and it would only make it better if this happened. he can convince scorpion that the lin kuei did not kill his family and clan and it was all quan chi. then them two could become an unstoppable alliance, sort of like sub zeros ending in the game before.
there's so much more that can happen with him in the next game but thats just an idea. hes my favorite character and i would love to see this happen!

Although he's my favorite character, the treatment of his character in the new timeline simply won't give a proper set-up for such a transition. In the old timeline, it would have been much more possible, but that is obviously in the past.

Sonya is a main character.

Did you mean female HERO character? For that to happened we'd have to deal with another Shujinko and/or Taven type. Male or female, I don't think any MK fan would want something like that trash again.

No. Sub-Zero gets too much poster-boy treatment, as does Scorpion. But, the he's still going to have a good chance of being the next hero, for that very reason.
