Storymode Sexism?

Having just finished storymode for the first time I can confirm that what started as a mere feeling is now a full fat theory...the female characters are easier to defeat. The more challenging fights all come from males. The AI difficulty feels completely different. For example when you fight Rain as Kotal Kahn he comes at you hard, the next fight is with Mileena who barely bothers to hit you. In a later chaper you fight Sonya followed by Johnny, it's like General Blade has been on the gin. Maybe it's just me?

Also what a pity that the only female character to act on her own is killed. Mileena is amoung the only females who has taken up some serious business not at the bidding of a man but in her own right. Sindel has always been on orders from a man, as is D'Vorah. Mileena takes on Kotal Kahn for herself. I'm a Mileena fanboy obviously but I think she came across as brave and ballsy in MKX.

P.S I bloomin' love this game!!!

Yip and that's awesome! I'm just wondering if anyone else feels that there is a difference in difficulty when fighting a female in storymode. I give applause muchly to MKX for making Cassie the one to take the lead.

This story is really sexist Sonya treats Johnny bad just because he's a man and she hates men. When you unlock her artwork it talks about it there with how sexist she is.

I think you're reading way too much into this. The fact that Cassie's the main hero of the story that defeats Shinnok and saves the realms disproves your entire point.

Sonya is a general who everyone in the special forces answers to.

Kitana is an empress too.

If anything I would say this is the most pro female MK ever lol (see all arguments above).

There is a point where there is even feminism for the sake of it like Sonya dialogue with Sub-Zero asking why not female Lin Kueis, and when Subbie says there are and mentions Frost, she says "I will kick her ass next next" like... what?? You are demanding females and once you realize your cause had no sense you don't care any more and you even want to kick her too? O.o

Wow...

I was merely wondering if anyone felt a difference in difficulty. MKX has been awesome for ze ladies finally putting them in clothes for example but one should still be able to ask questions of it. The AI for females in storymode feels easier. That's all I'm saying.

Huh. For me, the AI that gave me the most trouble in Story Mode was Rain, but Tanya came as a close second. Tanya was freaking scary. Mileena was no joke either. Maybe you're subconsciously hitting the women harder? I don't know.
