I was wondering if putting "story mode" in an MK game like Tekken 4-5.

example:
You pick story mode and you choose Scorpion. fights 1-6 are just random people, then fight 7 is Sub-Zero. Before the fight starts there is a cut scene and the two start talking trash and eventually fight. After that you fight the sub-boss then final boss. When you beat the final boss there is another cut scene, but this time it is with Quan Chi (If he is in MK7). there is arguing and threats then a fight, when you beat him you get his ending.

but every character wont get their own rivalry; some examples are Li mei. Darrius, hotaru, Bo Rai Cho, you get it.

It's just a thought, and I want to know what you guys think of it.

That's a nice idea, but it would be better if it was like DOA.
In DOA you fight three people, then have a story fight, then three people, then story fight then the boss.

Example. Scorpion- Fight 1, Fight 2, Fight 3, Story Fight against quan chi with a cut scene, Fight 5, Fight 6, Fight 7, Story Fight against Sub Zero with a cut scene, Final boss against The One Being(Or whoever it might be) with a cut scene as well.

Just my opinion.grin

Good thought man but only thing is theres not much Rivalry between Sub and Scorp now.

But yeah great thinking!

new caracters can than be used
a shirye ryu , a lin kuei, a warrior from Brother hood of S and more grin

yeah i like fromhell's idea
but i like to look at it as if u pick a character
ex: scorpion
now u have missions ( fights ) and build up a high status to earn btter ranks within the shirai ryu or lin kuie or even black or red dragon
each charcter has to build up to become what they are considered in the MK tournamnets
