In interviews the NRS team has stated that MK X will be similar in length to Mk9 which had 16 Chapters. I'm hoping it's a little bit longer.

I believe that we saw the last couple Chapters of Story Mode.

I believe that we will travel with 4 hero characters at a time. Either we will fight 1 Chapter per character or get to pick between the 4.

I prefer an Evil Character getting at least 1 chapter per time period. but NRS seems to only like to show the Hero's side of the story.

First 4-5 Chapters (0 years after MK9)Nether Realm War
Raiden
Johnny Cage
Sonya
Scorpion
D'Vorah

Next 4-5Chapters (10 years after MK9) Deadly Alliance Years to Shujinko's Quest/Mileena's short reign as Empress



Next 4-5 Chapters (15-20 years after MK9)Taven & Deagon Addressed Kotal's Rise and Mileena's uprising

Final 4-5 Chapters (25 years after MK9) Seen in the trailer

What Characters do you expect to play as in each set of Chapters. what do you think of my theory?

Sounds good. Though I doubt Shujinko gets a mention there's no point. And it's a new timeline DA doesn't exist. And deception wont, happen. If red dragon are in story like, in the comic Deagon may, be referenced.

But unlike mk9 mkx stoey isn't linear. Thier will be flash back aplebty. It'll jump back and forth as needed say your playing cassie in the 'present time' (25 years) then neatherrrealm war is referenced. Then 15 yrs after mk9 then back to 25

Pretty sure most of the chapters will be after the 25 year mark, not during.

During the 25 year mark is what the comics are for.

Thought the game would take place 25 years after MK9 and just have flashbacks every now and then to fill in the gaps between MK9 and 25 years. confused
