So many NPC's I want to play as, more so than many on the main.

I agree, considering the fact that Twitter guy said he dies at Kotal's hands during Mileena's ambush. Seems like... that would have been the optimal time. I was totally expecting him to die at the end of the video, only to breath a sigh of relief when he didn't.

Not because I'm a huge Rain fan or anything, I just don't really like it when any characters die a "canon" death in this franchise. Because we all know it won't last if NRS wants them in the next game... and it's just kind of... needless artificial drama. Both in the game and on the forums, lol.

I don't mind it if it's at the beginning of a game. To set a new status quo for the story. Like Liu in MKDA, or the heroes in MKD. Because that says to players, "That's why you won't be seeing him in THIS game" it's drama that has an undeniable effect on the here and now.

But when they do it in the middle or the end of a game it just feels silly and needless. Because it feels like they're trying to say, "You won't be seeing him in the NEXT game" which we all know is BS, because if they want a guy back, they'll bring him back to life. It implies drama for the next chapter that we all know is false.

So my friend (the same guy who told me Tremor and Tanya would be DLC like a few weeks back, about a month now when I posted it on XBoxAchievements) confirmed what we already know; this guys a fraud. I messaged him about the guy in hopes to end this speculation on his end once and for all.

And to answer your next question, that's all I know. I only knew the DLC because he knows I love Tanya. And yes, I trust him.

You should buy the PC version. Mods will make all NPCs playable.

No way Reiko would be the unlockable by beating story mode on hardest difficulty. That would be a pain in the ass for tournament operators, and NRS knows this. No fucking way would they do that.

I just thought about this. This opens up a whole new can or worms. Presumably, anyone who doesn't make it into the roster for MKXI but was in MK9 or MKX can come back and fight in story mode. Holy shit! They're gonna have a ton of people to use if thats the case.

Fantim on twitter is currently re-posting the fatalities and Kotal v Rain fight while acting like he's the first one posting them (i.e no credit given). I think it's safe to assume that the majority of 'leakers' on Twitter are just people re-posting shit trying to pass it off as their own.

I'm so glad Tanya & Tremor are coming. Aside from new characters, I'm so tired of the same group of characters over an over again. Aside from Shinnok, Goro and to a lesser extent, Quan Chi, it will be nice to have some other familiar faces show up again in playable form.

Indeed. Hell, Rain even being fightable in story shocks the hell out of me. I was under the impression Boon hated him. The fact he has a seemingly decent role in story is fucking nuts.
