Despite Reptile being the 3rd palette swap "ninja" introduced. Ermac has become much more popular than him now. i wouldn't be surprised to see Reptile take a break in the next game.

Thank the devs for giving Reptile lazy variations compared to the rest of the roster. Even Jason received more effort than him, and I bet Predator will too. Not to mention a very divisive appearance in nearly every game.

Why is Reptile so low?!!!

I mean he seemed like in top5 most popular charachters before.
His reveal trailer was the most watched, even though the laziest. "Reptile" was one of the most searched words in internet during his reveal. Also he seems like one of the most requested chrachters when a new MK is coming.


I guess that people got dissapointed (again) after that crappy trailer, fatalities and lazy variations.

NRS should really work on him, because right now from top popularity charachter, he has gone at the bottom.

I'm surprised that Reptile is so low this time around.
wouldn't be surprised if both him and Ermac(his ending shows Tsung robbing his souls,while Mileena's ending implies Tsung is still alive. and it's pretty obvious where Tsung could get souls from,if he were to return) take a break next game. Probably will be replaced by Noob and Smoke if they don't come back as DLC in this game. Hell,even Rain's got a chance to return.

Well i hope not. They need to get Reptile right one time. He has been shafted every since he became a lizzard.
In MKX i think they got his design costume right, althought they were some other good costumes in the concept art, but they went lazy with everything else. His fatalities are by far one of the laziest in the game.

Well I guess this is what happens when you spend half of the time on designing Scorpion posters and promoting him. His stats are just bizzare compared to the other charachters.
Sometimes i feel like wanting Boon out so that things can be balanced and not just be "Scorpion and some other guys".

Reptile is 15th on the MK9 usage list. This time round in MKX he has not got the likes of Sheeva, Sindel and Shang Tsung etc etc to prop him up. He was nowhere near top 5.

With many of the characters who were used more than Reptile returning to MKX and the new characters being well received generally, Reptile has sunk near the bottom.

Reptile deserves to be bottom last, hate that green bastard- his gameplay is always disastrous. Jax's fugly ass should be right above him too.

Shinnok and Kano deserves better.

I am not even surprised about Reptile being so low, its disappointing as he is a character I really like but ever since MK4 no one can seem to agree on a look for him. I don't think any character in the history of MK has had so many (notable) design changes over the years.

Low usage numbers has to do with not satifying gameplay or shit design.
In MK9 his overall appearance in story and main costume was bad. Gameplay was good though.
Sektor suprisingly also got really low numbers in MK9 stats.

Main bad guys also seem to always get low numbers(Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Kano). They are hated in a good kind of way, not like Kobra-hated.
Everyone seems to hate the scumbag villains, but always want to see them again.
Also lack of own chapters also influences numbers. I doubt that D'Vorah is more popular as a chrachter than Ermac for example.

LMFAO at the "female Scorpion and Sub-zero" being so low

these stats need to be updated, Jason has already wracked up 11 million in usage and its been less than a week since he was made available, let that sink in!

I really do not understand why NRS do not put them on the official web-site like MK9 did. It is a pain just waiting for the ticker in the online mode.
