I'd love it if the characters are able to pick up weapons and even objects from stages to kill opponents with. The fatalities should be similar to Manhunt executions.

How about no. MK doesn't need to suddenly change into Manhunt with their fatalities. They've been gruesome, they don't need to start stealing concepts from other games to make them more gruesome than ever.

If they wanted to bring back the weapons, then they seriously need some work. No impaling, that was such a waste of a weapon then. Also, the weapons shouldn't be some made-up concept, I remember Chrome (I believe that's who mentioned it) said something about that, and I agree.

But, I would not like weapons to be included in this game. Just go back to the old roots.

I wouldn't mind seeing weapons again, but I'm with Icebaby, they shouldn't be used like mid match for some Manhunt type fatalities. That's what Death traps are for (I know most hate them, but what can I say, I dig them!). I'd maybe like to see a bad ass sword or battle ax or something, but also have it done in a good fashion.

Scrap weapons. What would be cooler would be the ability to aim-throw/launch enemies into objects around the arena. Similar to how throwing was in MKDCU, except more of a martial arts launch than a "pick up the 190-pound dude and throw him like a doll"

That's cool too.

If u think about it, in a game like mortal kombat it is unrealistic to swing a sword around without cuttin off any body parts during a fight. U can get away with that in soul caliber, but it never felt right in mk.

Doesn't just the armor fall off in Soulcalibur rather than body parts?

i meant soul caliber can get away with using weapons without actually cutting off body parts whereas in a mk game u would expect to see fighters
loose body parts, which didnt happen in past mk games involving weapons.

I want weapons to return... but only stage weapons.

I hated each character having to "switch" into an alternate fighting style.

For characters whose weapons are a trademark... Well then let Kitana or whoever pull out their weapons during combos, but having to switch is lame.

I also don't think it makes sense for everyone to have a weapon, especially when many times it just doesn't go with them and it also becomes an issue of quantity over quality.

Another stupid thing was stage weapons in MKD and MKA... Most of them sucked. Why have stage weapons when character weapons are gonna be better and funner?

So just stick to stage weapons except for the female ninjas and others who require them as part of their trademark design. No more multiple fighting styles.

As for stage weapons and objects during fatalities... Don't really care about having special "weapon" fatalities, but I would like stage fatatilities to return. They might not incorporate weapons, but they do utilize obects related to the stage like razor fans, spiked ceilings, lava/acid pools, and whatnot.

i agree with that 99%...not 100% because i would not mind arena weapon fatalities that were similar to manhunt executions. also weapons as special moves are ok too...like you stated kitanas fans, jades staff, nightwolfs axe/bow,scorpions axe/spear/sword to name a few are good for combos and imo special moves alike.

I enjoyed stage weapons in MK Deception but I wouldn't like them as tools for fatalities.

It's not like you HAVE to use them, having the option is nice.

Joking aside, that actually sounds pretty damn cool. If nothing else, it'd be a welcome change of pace from the series' current presentation.

Yea that actually sounds good.
Maybe not for the whole game but to have the choice like in Resident Evil 5 when you can choose filters like Sepia or grainy or B&W.

Loves it!
