Kung Jin is also White Lotus, probably. And Takeda is Shirai Ryu as well. They're pretty diverse. More than likely it'll be Johnny and Jax's last game anyway.

In all fairness I respect that sonya and Johnny have big fan bases, but to add Cassie an Jaccui along with them, to me, is just like 2 duplicates..

I don't agree.. I happen to think Cassie has a cool style, I like her moves a lot think she's gonna be cool... We also havnt seen Jacqui at all or Sonya in real gameplay.... Think it's wayyyyy to early to compare still... Same thing with jax :)

If they were going to add in another Special Forces affiliated character, it should've been Cyrax rather than Jax. I still don't understand the point of Jax being back.

That said, I'm interested in Jaqui, she seems awesome and already more interesting than her father.

They seem to be taking over, yes; I'm loving it!

Kotal's team has him, D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, Ermac, Reptile, and Erron Black. The Special Forces isn't taking over, in my opinion. It's actually nice to see the good guys finally come together in an organized manner. I'm more concerned that Mileena's side only has her, Goro, and maybe Rain. The heroes outnumbering the villains is strange to me.

Military themed games have never been more popular, like most generic FPS in existence, NRS is just following the trend to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Brilliant strategy.

The problem I have is that between them all they are all gonna sound the same with there corny, tongue in cheek personalitys, now I know MK has always had that in and around there games but that was between sonya and Jonny, now where gonna have that between 4-5 characters, it's all too much and I think it's going to hinder the serious side to the game, the true nitty, gritty and dark MK we all love.

The roster sucks, yes, but it is the roster we have to deal with. I hate the fact Johnny/Sonya/Jax made it in instead of Kabal/Fujin/Baraka or even a fucking cyborg.

But I try my best to stay happy and just think about Predator :D.

At the end of the day it's a fighting game and what will make or break it is if the characters are original and the gameplay is fun.

What we've seen from Cassie's moveset doesn't look anything like Sonya and Cage and Jacqui is the exact opposite of Jax(Kickboxer wearing what seems to be flamethrowers on her wrists)

The "haters" of the family dynamic usually say the kids and parents will be exactly the same, but there's nothing so far that proves this. Hell, it's the opposite.

And really, with mostly all earthrealm warriors dead, who do you think is going to defend it? We still don't know what happens to the rest of them after the Netherrealm war.
