I'm reluctant to believe this, but after hearing the "Toasty Boost" rumor when MK9 first came out and then not actually getting legit proof of it existing until A LONG time after it's release, I won't completely dismiss this. Would be nice to actually get some visual proof to go off of though.

Not to get my hopes up but I do believe Fujin is in the game. I find it very odd that there's no unlockable/secret characters in the game. I think it's a matter of time that someone finds the unlockable if there is one. Just my thoughts.

He's not going to be playable.

Shinnok is the unlockable, though if you have the kombat pack Shinnok will be unlocked because of the Samurai skin pack.

That's what I heard. I actually went in Story Mode first so I have no idea if I had him unlocked or not.

Popular or not, I don't think Fujin is important enough to be the super secret unlike the abomination of Zombie Liu Kang.

If you think about it the question mark on the sleet screen picks a random character but if you press triangle it can pick a random person too. Just like mk3 when smoke was a unlockable person that block with a question mark was there. And why ask if we unlocked fujin in Cassie selfie fatalities if he not on the game.

That was not Ed Boon though, just someone trolling using his Twitter username.

And really, Fujin only appeared in CGI cutscenes(You can spot the slight differences in graphics in cutscenes and interactive cutscenes, enough to know some of them aren't using in-game models). With Rain, Sindel and Baraka you'd have a case. They could be super unlockables.

But Fujin doesn't have a usable in-game characer model. We know there's no additional character but if there was, and we'd have to analyze everything, it wouldn't be Fujin.

They could just hide/disguise/encrypt the files for the secret character somewhere else and not have them in the same location as the rest of the roster.

It's not a real tweet and no one is trolling. It's a fake tweet the Dev team put in the game themselves in her fatality. If that's not a legit clue, I don't know what is. And if it's not a legit clue, then the Dev team is trolling us which isn't very cool.

Oh, I hadn't actually seen the fatality yet. Someone posted a picture of the box part to Boon and Boon said it wasn't his account. I didn't know it was from her fatality.

It doesn't mean anything, really. They've hinted at characters not in a game before. Hell, Fujin's name was sometime flashing in the clouds in Deception's menu.

If Fujin really is in, I want the crossbow as his projectile.
