I don't hate hate Meat and Mokap like some other people do, like I never want them playable in a game again and I think they suck ass but I don't "hate" them, I do hate Dairou though

Yeah I am not much of a SF guy myself. I play it sometimes now just for the sake of changing things up sometime but that's about it. I was introduced to the series about the same time as MK when I was a little kid and I rarely ever played it, so damn boring lol I know this will sound like some hater shit but I literally played Shaq-Fu more than SF2 when I was a kid hahaha

That's why MKX's new characters resounded better with fans than DA and D's new characters.

Kai, Jarek, Kobra, Kira, Li Mei, Darrius, Dairou and Hotaru were all pretty much regular humans with special moves for some reason.

But with MKX you get a cowboy, an aztec god, a symbiote, a hive mind, an archer, a ninja with bladed whips, a military daughter with wrist weapons and the daughter of two very popular character.

Everyone is unique and all their abiltiies make sense within their designs or weapons used. They don't have special powers because they have to.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the 3D era guys to get a chance to shine again and I don't hate any of them, but they would probably be more popular if their powers made sense.

That is precisely why I am not to big on a lot of the 3D era characters. I don't like Dairou, Darrius, Hotaru, Kobra, or Jarek because they just seemed so regular.

Out of the MKDA-MKD newbs the ones I liked the most (in terms of design/appearance) were Havik, Onaga, Drahmin, Moloch and Nitara.

See a theme there? They are all pretty...not normal for the most part. they aren't regular ass people lol so I was instantly drawn to them more than say, Kobra, Dairou, Darrius, or Ashrah lol

So I agree, a lot of the new characters in MKX are great imo, they are all pretty unique and interesting in terms of design, imo.
