Beside your facts that you state no physical proof means no believing your facts are straight.... It very unlikely your fact of the new mk game is true and that your "friend" is feeding you false info.....

I don't remember any past interviews mentioning 'button combinations' to enter different stances. I think that's a great idea, regardless.

I think he's telling the truth. Unless someone can point me to where an interview states specifically 'button combinations' to enter different stances to access different moves.

There will be no button combinations. In fact...I'm sure of it.

I am also sure there will be no returning characters, less Scorpion and Sub-zero. We know they will be in. So yeah...it's laughable for anyone to refute these claims...

I think there will be more than 2 returning characters. If the new characters are unpopular, then MK has to have something to fall back on. Plus it wouldn't even feel like Mortal Kombat with all new characters.

The only two returning characters will be Scorpion and Sub-zero. That is what Boon said. You remind me of a guy who claimed to be working for Midway...and he claimed MKA will only be having 32 characters. He said it was impossible to fit all the characters in. Blah Blah Blah....yup, he was wrong.

There is way too much storyline going on. There has to be at least half of the characters in MK8 that didnt die in armageddon

Well, from what i read, it does sound like it would be kool to have button combinations. Plus, you guys don't know for sure if he is or isn't friend's with Ed Boon's family members. alot of people know someone that works at game companies. I know a couple that works for Nintendo. Plus this is the first I have heard anything about MK 8. 99% of what is in this forum is what [fans would like to see or who they think will be coming back or etc..... I can tell you right now that Sub-Zero and Scorpion isn't the only returning Kharacters returning. I searched the Web and did see alot fo returning that was confermed. Instead of jumping to conclusions, but sure that you know for sure if someone is or isn't lying about something. In the end, your going to feel real stupid when someone's info does come true and your going to say. "He was Right". Also, if he had some solid proof he would of supplied a website or he is under strict orders not to give too much info away about MK 8. So Please, Be nice to someone. You never know if he is right.....

I refute the fact that he sais five returning characters will be returning. I remember Ed saying only Scorpion and Subzero will be back....because he cannot imagine them not being in the game.

I also remember him saying all the characters from MKA died. DIED!

Ed Boon wasn't saying Scorpion and Sub-Zero are the only characters to return. He was saying he couldn't image an MK game without them, so basicly saying those 2 are going to be in the game. That has nothing to do with any other MK characters from the past. I asure you there will be a few more, maybe not alot but a few more. Im sure Reptile and Raiden will be in it. Why? B/c these are fan favorites and they need to include fan favorites for a game to do good. Like someone else said, if this MK game had all new people except scorpion and sub-zero it wouldn't seem like a MK game, it would seem like a new fighting game that just happens to feature scorpion and sub-zero from MK. Also if nobody likes the new characters they would atleast need a few old favorites otherwise the game is for sure to be doomed. And Midway cant afford that to happen. I dont know the roster account but Im sure ATLEAST 1/4 of the characters will be returning characters.

Since Liu Kang is still champ, he will return too. Kung Lao might also return. What about Taven and Daegon, they are still new.
