Erron Black is a cool guy, he shoots guns and doesn't afraid of anything...

I'm really digging EB (Ed Boon can't help himself it seems?, Noob wasn't enough)

His design, his game play, my only gripe is with his variations.

I'm not super happy with his Tarkatan blade variation I think if they wanted to go Cowboy.

They should have gone full Cowboy and given EB a Bull-Whip ala Indiana Jones.

Though they opted to give Takeda the whips so it's not a lost concept I just feel that the whip would of fit EB better imo.

Other than that though I think NRS did a pretty spot on job with Black and I can't wait to get my hands on him and the rest of the MKX cast!

I still feel the same. That he doesn't fit mk at all and I was not impressed by his gameplay. I hope that changes when I use him but, so far I hate him. I don't see what you all see in him.

Erron Black is definite WIN. for those who doubt Guns can work in a fighting game, his moves have much more tactical use, and diversity from Stryker, who barely used his gun(s) at all.

I like that he`s an Outlaw Bounty Hunter, and not a normal cowboy type. Their hats look so ridiculous. I`d rather wear a Sombrero, at least it works as an Umbrella Parasol.

He's meh for me personally.

I think he's a bit out of place he just doesn't fit with the feel of the game for me. I can't even put my finger on why exactly. I guess it's the cowboy theme mostly I find offputting.

And he was so over hyped imo. Yes definitely not as interesting to me as most of the other newcomers.

I honestly don't see what there is not to like. I used to disapprove of guns in MK, but it's too late for that now. And if we're going to have guns, why not some old revolvers meant for winning a draw?

I like his gameplay and design but his first fatality..meehh rather stupid

I've loved him since I saw his design. Top 3 character. Shinnok Tremor Erron.

Some people here are saying that he uses his guns too much and doesn't punch or kick enough, but I honestly didn't even notice the difference until people mentioned it. His speech makes it pretty clear that that's a big part of his character -- his fighting style is an extension of his personality. Personally, I dig how he executes his entire X-ray attack with one bullet.

I also like the way he incorporates movement into his moves, like the rifle blasts and double revolver shot. That's the kind of shit I'm into.

I only have two minor complaints about Erron: one being that I agree that the sand pile in his Fatality looks too "fake" and the other being that his Tarkatan blade impale doesn't make much sense. Does he carry an unlimited supply of Tarkatan arms? Or if it just teleports back to him like other characters' "magic" weapons do, how does it come back unbroken? That's not the kind of magic I would expect from a severed arm.

Main reason I'm sold on Erron Black, of course, is because I practically created him first and I will probably never get tired of mentioning that.

I'll pass? I can imagine some noobs will be online trying to spam the hell out of his guns. lol. pssshfff.
