Didn't recognize Cassie and Jacqui when he saw them. They acted like they first met, while in the comic he almost got killed for defending them. Inconsistency much?

pssst hey i'm going to tell you a secret ready?
Maybe the events in the comics took place after the ones in MKX
Kittelsen has said the the comics jump around alot they could be taking place along side the game one day and they could jump back or forward in time the next day.

Nah that wouldn't make any sense at all.
Erron Black has both Jacquie and Cassie tied up when he's ambushed by Kano. He's later discovered by D'Vorah who was sent by Kotal Khan to find him.
It's impossible for that to have happened after Erron and Cassie's interaction in the game story, because D'Vorah would have already defected to Shinnok by that time. And even if those events happened within the same time period, Cassie and Jacquie aren't in their Special Forces attire and aren't with Takeda and Kung Jin. There's no way the timeline matches up where Erron Black meets the team in the game before he meets them in the comic.

Fair enough I haven't watched any of the stream leaks so I may not of been the best suited to provide such information.
Just speculating y'know.
Thanks for providing a clearer answer though Zeek.

Comics happened before MKX remeber they were sold as being a prequel to the game which the more and more I read about MKX just proves to be completely false. Erron black not knowing the girls, scorpions clan is back in the game after being killed again and absolutely no mention of Havik or reiko what so ever.
Seems like the only thing the comic and game have in common are the name mortal kombat!!!

The girls are younger and Erron Black doesn't even talk much.
