His Enera Demon form from his MK9 ending would be grade A!

lol It's funny because Smoke is my avatar. Keep him dead. I wanted everyone who died to stay dead but that isn't happening anymore. I think we can resurrect a few people while still taking the story seriously. I love smoke but I don't think he needs to resurrected for this game.

Hate the demon stuff but I'm just a party pooper like that. I always assumed he was an alternative to cyromancers and others like him existed in Outworld or at least used to. This is just my interpretation but NOTHING about smoke, like the substance/elment (not characters) screams demon to me. This is why cyber sub pissed me off so much. Smoke becoming a machine, thematically makes sense. Sub Zero, they did it because they could.

I thought the Enenra stuff was awesome and I'd like to see that explored a little bit if he makes it in the game. I'd like him to be in, but I'd easily settle on him being DLC. I don't expect him to be on the regular roster but I'd gladly be wrong.

The enenra thing is cool, but what on Earthrealm would that look like in game?

I would love to see him back in the enenra form.. but a human infused with the enenra.

I want nothing like his deception look.

I think Smoke has been overused and overrated on the past MK games..
NO I donpt want him.. Why not give his spot to someone with a lot of potential, like Tremor ?

Smoke is awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing him in this game, but his chances are relatively low since there are too many other vets with bigger chances.

I'd like to see him as DLC, though.

Ken Lally (voiced Smoke) from MK9 showed up in the cast for MKX on IMDB.
Funny enough while he is listed for Shinnok/Goro I think he may do the voice for Smoke. Just simple speculation.

I'm hoping we see some form of Noob and Smoke interaction. I know the timeline has changed, but I think we will have to see something referencing those two, like Noob's alternate costume easter egg in MK9. Who knows!

But seriously...remember back when Kotal was first shown off, and you could see little animations for his variations? There was a greyish-looking figure in there if you zoomed in close enough. We never did get confirmation on who that was....

Even if he's in I doubt they will take the smoke demon route, I mean, MK9's endings in general were really "out there", Smoke's one just happened to really stick with some fans.

Yes I would really like to see smoke back I have always been a big fan of his and when they brought him back as human smoke in MK9 he was awesome! I don't really know where he could go story wise though I have a feeling that sub zero and scorpion will become allies in this game so his bromance with sub zero can't really progress much more and we don't even know which sub we are getting yet!

I would like to see him team up with noob again; an idea i had was after noob got thrown into the soulnado in MK 9 he got split in two with one part being purified and turned back to subzero (bi Han) and the other part got sent back to the netherealm where it merged with smoke hence making a new noob with both noobs and smokes abilities!!! This would tie in well with the variation style as one could play like noob and one could play smoke with the other variation a mash up of the two!

I don't know I would just like to see both back in but I will still get the game regardless and hope for DLC just no more cyborg smoke please cyborgs are terrible and shit!

One of my personal gripes with the story mode is that they brought back the MK3 roster, gave them proper development to where I actually started liking them, then out of the blue all of them were killed in a single cut scene.

Smoke was awesome, from his secondary costume, to his unique move set, and interesting origin story. It just takes away from his character that he was eliminated then sent straight to the Netherealm with a majority of the cast in MK (2011).

If this game is truly opening up the gates for the next generation of kombatants then I won't be opposed to having Smoke not return as a playable character. It would make that shock factor and plot twist seem completely irrelevant if they just wiped out all of those characters then brought them back right away.

I liked the Cyber smoke arc a lot better than that lame excuse for Cyber Sub-Zero, it was more compelling and that story arc developed Sub-Zero, Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke better as characters. Smoke re-routed his programming because his will was stronger and his bond with Sub-Zero over ruled his programming. I wish we got to see that unfold, but hey what can you do.

That's a story telling I can see form NRS, and I would acually love it (not the story itself, but the results).

I just think we already got too many returnees..
However, I would be ok with a Cyber Smoke DLC.

In the unlikely event cyber smoke comes back his Deception look is the only right choice.

Yes, i want him back too... He was a great character in MK11, and i love his 1st trilogy story.
He was on my 3 favorites in MK3-MKT, i used to like his Noob-Smoke in MK Deception and like to see him back in MK Armageddon.
So in MK 2011, he was back, and so kool !!!! Hope at last he will be a DLC character...

Smoke has been my favorite character ever since MK2. I have enjoyed him ever since he was a carbon copy of Scorpion. He is one character whos story really has evolved from game to game. I like where they have taken him. Cyber fans got him as Cyber Smoke in 3 games... Us human Smoke fans have got him for 1 so far. MK- Trilogy doesn't count. I would love to see Human Smoke back in this game with his Enenra form as a fatality. He was one of the most popular characters in MK9 and I see no reason why he shouldn't be included in this game as well!
