I really wish they would give Sindel a bigger role because right now she is just Kitana's mother. Not that it's a bad thing but she could do much more.

A part of me thinks that Kitana should have killed Sindel in Deception while she was evil. Then again, now that Shao Kahn (I still can't believe they brought him back so early) is back, maybe they could start a rivalry between those two?

They should really dig into her past before or while she was married to Shao Kahn. Why would she leave her innocent little girl in the hands of a monster like Kahn when she knew damn well what he was capable of? What could Kahn have done to drive Sindel to kill herself? Was it because he killed her husband, forced her to be his wife, adopted her daughter, enslaved her people, and ruined her realm or was it something more?

*While some may think she abandoned her daughter, try to look at it from her point-of-view. A person can only go through so much before reaching their breaking point. I do think she was a coward for killing herself and leaving her daughter alone without a positive role model, but I can understand why she did it and may even sympathize with her. However, until they tell her full story, I can't.

Seriously though, I actually think she was murdered. It says suicide in many storylines yes, but I think she may have been secretly murdered so Shang Tsung could put the spell on her spirit that was needed to reviver her in earthrealm so Kahn could overtake the realm according to his plan.
I agree though. If Kahn is indeed coming back (all signs point to yes..can't people just stay freakin dead in this game?) then they really should develop the hatred and rivalry she would have against him like they did with, say, Quan Chi and Scorpion. Or heck, Scorpion and Sub Zero.

I really hope they bring her back. Not because she is my favorite MK character of all time, but because she has so much potential storywise and she has always been fun for me to play.

I know, if they could give her a better story line to do with shao kahn, she would be a much better character

Hmm, well, Sindel should definitely be in MK7 and I agree that she needs more to her storyline. I don't know about the idea of Shao Kahn tricking her into becoming his queen again....eh... Hmm...although, perhaps Sindel will have to resort to asking Shao Kahn for his help in taking down Onaga. Shao Kahn could agree but it would cost her something in return such as her having to be his queen.

It's just an idea though. Perhaps there are other possibilities for her.

i'd like for her to become the destroyer of onaga...i don't know i like pretty much everyone one from edenia(did i spell that right)but her (and kitana)especially. and if she destroyed onaga it could put her conflict with hotaru

we need more people like oracle in this world. . Sindel could be capable of destroying Onaga, but it would be better if lui kang won back his popularity. since he died, people wanted him to stay dead, so he should kill onaga. Sindel, should fight Shao Kahn in the opening cinematic, but when she doesnt know who it is, cuz he's in disguise, he sends Mileena to finish her off, making her think she was slain by her own daughter. So unlike MK3, it will take more than just a couple of convincing words, to make sindel come back to Edenia.

I'd like her to b the one who killed Onaga... it'd give her some relevance and cred... hehehhe

I think she should go back to evil... I really don't care how or why...

AND she sould back to use her hair... intead of having it floating arround... they should make it heavier and make it a weapon... maybe even in a long braid
and her weapon should be a lashing weapon... a chain, or whip

Deniftly, I agree with Illandra86 everyone now knows that Kitana is Sindel's daughter. But otherwise she should come back.

I also hate Sindel's costume, they should use her MK annihalation costume, with the velvet gloves and stuff like so:

I really liked her look in MK Annihiliation though a big part of that had to do with Musetta Vander playing in it and all.

But um...the costume is good too and she could have that as a better look for her MKD primary costume. Maybe she can even have a bit of a light, thin armor plate on the front and maybe some other things to give her a bit of a warrior queen type look and feel. I think the hair should be more like it was in MKA.

I'm going to disagree with you since they did change her hairstyle in MKD. If they can do that, I'm sure they can do that in MK7.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. I kind of liked how she could do things with her hair in the older MKs. It was fun to fly around with her and I'd like to see that back.

they probably won't bring back full on flying but i'd like to see her float or something in a few of her moves if she comes back in MK7. but yeah her hair better do something, i thought for sure that would be her waepon...also what do you think about her ending in MK:D

I'd like to see her with some kind of Royal Scepter as her weapon or maybe even a Dark Whip since I get that dominatrix vibe from her due to her alternate costume and such....

Her ending was interesting with the bits about the hieroglyphs and Onaga's missing armor. I'm sure they'll go more into detail with that in the next MK or so. Other than that, I don't think her ending happened or maybe her ending happened, but Sindel and Jade weren't victorious.

i really hope her ending happened it would give the MK team a way to give reptile his "ninja" body back, which is what alot of people want, plus her ending was a picture longer then EVERYONE else's(with her re-uniting with kitana)...it's probably nothing but it's something i noticed and like i said it could give her a new enemy hotaru which would be change cause almost eveyone from edenia is always in conflict with someone from outworld

As for her ending, I wouldn't like it to happen since I'd like Kitana to embrace her evil and be evil out of her free will and all that.

I'm referring to the hairstyle itself, not the colors. In MK3, her hair was more...."Elvira-ish" which I didn't really like...In MKD, it's a bit different.

oooooooooo i get it, basically it was more higher on the top. well it would be a BIG change if they changed the color. besides if her hair is as short as the mka sindel, you can forget about her hair whip

I don't know. Sindel did do a hair whip type move in MKA and it was like her hair kind of stretched or extended so it could work. I like the way they did her hair in MKA and it would make her look younger if she had more black and less white.

Another thing I'd like to see is have pupils for her. I don't necessarily mind the no pupil thing for her, but I would like to see some.

I think for her primary costume, it should basically be the MKA type look but with a light, thin armor chest plate thing and maybe some other things with a crown on her head. This will be her warrior queen look.

Her alternate costume look can be more of the goth, dominatrix type look without looking skanky or whatnot..

i know, my point was maybe edenia could be at war with seido(is that how you spell it). because if sindel actually did beat onaga, hotaru's plan for order in all the realms would be ruined so he and his realm declare war on edenia which would finally make a new story arc for everyone involved with edenia who have been fighting with people from outworld since the series began. and tonya would join up with the guys from the order realm and mileena could also team up with them so she could take steps to get rid of her "family"...see new stories for people that really need it as for her hair, it really doesn't need to grow any, it kind of grew in MKT so it could just do that again. and i think she should keep the color exactly as it is since she supposed to be "dead" same thing with the pupils. and i kind of like her outfit the way it is now...just a little plain thats all

I guess it could kind of work, but then again, Hotaru has to worry about Darrius since he's bent on trying to take control of Seido.
