I like Sindel so im all for her returning.

I think it would be awesome if she came back...but normal. Wasn't she one of the "zombies" that Quan Chi had possession of along with Kung Lao, Kitana, and the rest? I hope they bring her back for story purposes. It could really spice things up. I like the fact that she would feel guilty and all, too. Anything can happen now that they've already brought back 1 dead hero.

Sindel is my fave female in MK and I wouldn't mind if she did return, but it's unlikely that she will. I'd prefer her over Kitana any day.

I think Sindel can be brought back to make amends for what she's done while under Kahn's influence.

I actually like the idea of Nightwolf breaking the spell or expelling Shang from her body. Mainly because it would of left Nightwolf as well as Shang alive, lol, but I've said before if anyone has magical powers that are strong enough to combat the forces, it'd be Nightwolf.

She may only return to MK:X as Quan Chi's possessed slave. To obey every command at will. Otherwise she will cease to exist

I don't think she'll be back, but I would love her too. On the other hand, if she did came back she would probably be good, and that for me makes her 50% less cool. I would still like her, but evil bitch Sindel is just so much better.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind any character returning with a makeover because I like most of them but I'd much rather the spot be used for new blood or old characters that didn't get the same treatment story wise.

Since I don't give a swat to story in a fighting game, I don't mind they bring back any old kharacter. Look at Johnny, and some other not so popular kharacters in MK history. The MK team have killed them, resurrected them for no reason, kill them again, and resurrected them again. Story doesn't mean a thing in MK, or any fighting games. Story to NR, means just a joke, you really should not follow it that deep.

As for Sindel, she used to be one of my top 10 favorite. Though there are far more kharacters I prefer over her, but Sindel is one kharacter, if done right, can really become a masterpiece. A queen of scream... Need I say more?

Can you honestly say you believe it would of made it this far without one? Games need some sort of substance...even if it's a haphazard one.

Not only that, but if the story didn't mean anything or wasn't beloved by people, as well as the team, do you think there would of been comics and (especially) movies?

The characters I am most excited to see are past characters that I feel have more to give than have been in previous games.

I kind of feel Raiden, Quan Chi, Sub Zero etc have all been in plenty of games and in their new forms I don't see a whole lot of evolution to make me excited to see them again,

Kung Lao and Kano seem to be the most interesting make overs I've seen so far but I'm hoping the next reveal isn't a character we've seen in most of the last few games


I'd be far more interested to see a revamp of Sindel for example dealing with the event of the last game

Sheeva whose never really been much more than a punch bag despite some really interesting character development in her endings

Havik for all the obvious reasons

Rain, Draham (however its spelt) and Tanya would all be more exciting reveals than lets say, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang or Sonya

As I have said number of times. I am ONLY and PROUD to be the ONLY one who does NOT want ANY story in a fighting game. About the only thing I care about is the playability. I do not care about story mode, I can care less about the character's bio. If the character has his/her ending when you beat the game, that's just a bonus, since there's no guarantee that will carry over to the next game, which has been the case with MK and so many other fighiting games. Part of the reason I don't want Konquest mode or story mode EVER returning, and the reason why I hated Konquest of MKD, for it FORCED me to play through that GARBAGE in order to unlock any kharacters and good stuffs. I would rather go to krypt like they did on MKDA to unlock kharacters, don't want to be forced to play something that I hate. Fighting games should be limited to and focus only on fighting. Nothing else. Versus mode is important in a fighting game, when you have friends over, and the story doesn't do anything. When you play a single player game, I only play it to beat the boss, and I don't really care about the ending. Heck I don't even read those and wait for it to complete... I miss the old Arcade days, where, fighting game is fighting game ONLY. NO STUPID Story. I want the secret unlockable that is WITHIN the fighting game itself. NOT some lame story mode. Like enter a code, or do something within fighting game to unlock characters and what not. In other words, TRADITIONAL way, which I feel is the TRUE meaning of a fighting game. NO other ganre is allowed to be mixed in. That's what I want in a fighting game. If I wanted a story, I would have bought Final Fantasy, or some kind of RPGs or Adventures. That's how much I hate story in a fighting game. Call me arrogant, stobbourn, or what have you, but I am old fashioned, and PROUD.

I'd like to see her comming back, specially to see where the Ermac/Jerrod story goes and how they could interact and even restablish Edenia. I really liked that ending.

Sindel is one of my top10 favorite characters and my second favorite female (Sareena being the first) so I'd really like to see her in the game, trying to redeem her actions under Kahn's influence.

She's a really powerful character and with her screams, flying and hair powers she would be great for the variations system.

I'm also a fan of the Inhumans and she's like a mix of Black Bolt and Medusa (both royal characters too) so more points for her :P

That's totally, 100% up to you and I'm not trying to dissuade how you like to enjoy the game. That's your choice.

My point was that NRS & Co. not caring about the story is completely false.

I do not think Silver Banshee should return. They could not use her before, thez cannot now.



her main problem is that she works perfectly fine as a background character, and compared to what others have or can have in the case of newbies, she does not bring alot to the table.

At first I really want to thank you all for giving us a chance to talk about unique kharacters of the Mk universe .Moreover , Queen Sindel is one of the strongest and prominent kharacter and is the most powerful female among the others whose powers cannot be matched with the Queen. It would be really sad and disappointing not to see the one and only Queen Sindel in MKX... She should be in and plus her fighting variations will be EPIC ,too

Sindel is obviously my favorite character. I would love for her to return but i do not expect it. I think it would be cool if she was one of the few dead characters to return. Like her Kung Lao and someone else. And her feeling so guilty about all the earthrealm warriors being dead. She would fight alongside Raiden to save her daughter, Jade, and the rest of them.

I'd like to see her return - she's one of the characters i really liked for her superb fightstyle in MK9. I really feel i got a good handle on fighting a mix-up game, zoning game, combo-chaining all kinds of stuff with her. However, with the direction the story is going, i feel maybe she might benefit from sitting this one out to return later. Basically i don't want to see her as a zombie playable character. She should be either evil under a trance, or good of her own volition.

Who knows? Maybe she'll be a necessary plot point in the exposition explaining where Shang Tsung's essence went.



Well, good for you having such strong convictions. I personally prefer that the side-games add diversity, and you can't deny that others do too. But i see your point about being forced into something you don't really like. Fortunately for you that has been the case less since then.

I am all for Nightwolf forgiving Sindel; imagine a second magical sacrifice from the shaman to release a guilt striken Sindel who mourns the death of her entire family.

I speculate that Shang's soul drifts aimlessly until the shadow priests get a hold of it, after Shao Kahn's death. They could meet at the tower to manipulate time and reform their leading sorcerer: Shang Tsung to oppose Kotal Kahn's rise. Shang Tsung could then make his way back to his island to contact the masked guards and use those factions under his leadership to regain Outworld or attack the Netherrealm.

I am excited to see what's going on with all the dead characters. Kung Lao is back and he's aged, so he's alive somehow. What's going on with all the people that got stuck in the Netherrealm with Quan Chi?
