There's a 'Who's Next?' at the end of Tremor's trailer and Boon has been trolling us again on his Twitter feed. It's likely we'll get another character or two given that's what happened with Injustice, and MKX appears to have sold very well.

Is it stupid to ask if they will be free for Kombat Pack owners? I feel like Tremor is the last thing we are going to get and any characters after going to be regular price for all of us regardless if we have the pack or not.

The hint in Boon's tweet is that the next character will be free, but who knows. Everything contained in the Kombat Pack was clearly advertised before release; it's not a season pass including all post-release content.

If they release a free character, I suspect it will be Rain because a) he already has a lot of in-game assets, and b) Boon said that they wouldn't charge for the same DLC twice.

Hopefully we get Fujin, and there has been a tweet hinting at that (check the Alien tweet from earlier today) and if so, I suspect everyone will have to pay for him.

I find it very hard to be the Baraka. Impossible to make three varições for it!

I think they could pull off Baraka if they sat down and really thought about it. One day when I was replacing my grandparents ceiling tiles I was day dreaming about what he variations would be and came up with quite a few things lol

Universals - Blade spark, Blade Charge, Chop Chop blades (Or w.e MK9's version of that attack was called)

Tarkatan - This would be the variation where his arm blades stay out/fully extended. It would be like Scorpion's Ninjutsu variation, he doesn't get any new specials but he gains variation unique normals, combos, extended reach and a straight up dirty NJP

Agile - Adds low spark (which would be shot down diagonally (like Predators low plasma shot) and also gains an air spark. So it would be good for "zoning" and keep away.

Savage - Gains unique command grab style attacks that utilize his arm blades, one of which is the multistab which causes the opponent to bleed out for a few seconds, and a special that gives him a notable damage buff for a few seconds.

More could be done, but considering some variations for other characters these should suffice lol

it would make no sense at all. There has to be more dlc. I think fujin will make it for sure but I really hope if they add a story npc that it's baraka instead of rain. He had his turn for dlc last game and unfortunately missed the cut on the roster this time around, even though rain and baraka should have been in and kitana and kung Lao could have been good dlc choices since they had zero significance to the story. But they couldn't have that because all those pros would have to actually learn a new character instead of playing with basically the same moveset as the last game

I really do think more DLC is imminent. Don't know who, or what, but something more will come.

I think it is all but confirmed that we will be getting more DLC characters it's just a matter of who I really hope that it isn't the story pack people have spoke. About (rain, Sindel and Baraka) that would suck balls. I really hope for smoke, noob, sareena and fujin but time will tell

smoke or noob have a decent chance to return, but not both of them, no way. I'd like to see noob if he gets reimagination like ermac did, ditching the ninja vibe and make him like a shadow priest look. I think if theres a 2nd pack then I hope it's fujin baraka, kabal, and cyrax as a 4th
