Maybe Jinko could become a decent character with his own move set. His MKA ending was kind of interesting compared to others but in terms of believing Damashi. Jinko himself kind of spoiled it in the intro movie by saying he was the fool that brought Onaga such powers. Why would someone think that he was actually on a quest commanded by the Elder Gods during his Konquest, knowing that Onaga was the big boss in the game?

i believe he ought to come back in a story mode still copying others abilities but allow the player to choose who he trains with and what abilities he mimicks giving alot more customization and creativity to him and maybe have a few unique moves just for him and it would be awsome going online fighting other shujinko's with different moves and costumes for him and an improved story mode on the ps3 sounds sexy!

you don't speak for everyone just because you don't like Shujinko. It doesn't mean that you have the right to speak for everyone else.

I vote yes to section Jinko. He's not the first or only character to copy others in some way yet he gets the most hate - firstly that's unfair, and secondly I liked the story explanation for that. The only problem i had is that most of his specials were charge attacks! Who needs more than two?

His story doesn't need to change an awful lot, depending on the direction NRS takes the main storyline.

If he isn't included sooner or later then it will feel like NRS couldn't be bothered after expending so much time and energy on him - which will feel like a void.

Hsu Hao is not lamer than Dairou. Hsu Hao actually has a decent backstory at least, and his special moves fit his character concept. His only real offenses are being an ugly character design and having a boring fighting style.

Dairou is a hideous character design and boring fighting style too, but with a bad backstory and seemingly randomly chosen set of special moves that make no sense piled on top of that. The only thing about him that has ever been good was the story they DIDN'T use from the MKDA Krypt.

Dairou is being Dairou and that is just a good reason to hate Dairou.

I think Dairou's backstory isn't good because they never elaborated on it very well. I think the fact that he was a Seidan Guard before killing the guy that (he thought) killed his family is a perfectly decent part of a backstory, but not really enough. I wish they had given him more thought and more of a story. He has a lot of potential to be a character that's actually pretty cool.

Also he's not really... ugly... at all? I don't see how he's ugly. His haircut is weird but that's all I can see. I quite like his design, I think it's unique and unique characters are always a plus in my book.

I like his gameplay and his sword, personally. His special moves don't make sense though, I agree with you on that.

Really, he's not THAT bad. His Eye Stab fatality was pretty badass, I think the character was pretty badass in a couple of parts. Being a mercenary is pretty cool, but if they had thought about it more, Dairou could have been five thousand times more badass. I guess i'm seeing him a lot for what could have been- so I really like him in the sense that I see so much potential in him.

I see why you think he's a bad character, but he does have some good points. He's not completely terrible.

I think Dairou just fell flat of the promise.

MKDA had a teriffic idea for a bloodthirsty assassin
MKD had a motivated yet manipulated sort-of bloody merc.

The fighting styles they went with weren't bad (in MKD and MKA), i thought the sword style was severly lacking and yes, the specials were just random and made no sense - The TP switch was good as a move but oddly placed on him.

Hsu Hao on the other hand has always intrigued me - a disciplined double-agant spy focused on wiping out the Black dragon and being Mavado's butt bitch (in my head) but i liked his styles in MKDA and his fatality made use of the cybernetic heart implant - and the fact that he wasn't just another white guy made him actually interesting.
