Daegon is here along with his clan. Taven is Daegon's brother so there you go! they should be in MKX PERIOD.
If you want them out, that can be arranged. Kano is Daegon's rival by default, let him use Quan Chi to get to Daegon. If anyone can find Daegon, I know Quan can. Or Rain, the competitive half brother, can kill both Deagon and Taven. All I ask is to give the two brothers one more shot at having a good story and gameplay in MKX, and it's whatever after that.
