Should Shao Kahn make an appearance in this game?

As we all know, Shao Kahn is the boss of all Mortal Kombat bosses and is the poster boy of evil in the series. However, the ending to MK9 saw his demise and destruction thanks to the Elder Gods. I know that all signs are pointing to Shinnok and Quan Chi being the main bad guys in this game but do you think that the game needs Kahn, whether it be a story cameo or the resurrected final boss?

I agree tho I'm scared for 2 reasons.

1.) We hear his voice shout "FIGHT!" in the MKX trailer

2.)Since this maybe a meeting of the timelines of some sort they may just have the Shao Kahn from the original timeline who Killed Raiden come back & challenge Shinnok which I will be mad if they do.

I agree he should stay dead for now.

As a secret boss? Maybe. As a character a part of the story? NO. Shao Khan should be dead and that's the way it needs to stay. I'm honestly sick of Shao Khan, Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi. Quan-Chi is next on the list of villains that need to die and stay dead.

Based off of the ending from MK9, is there a chance that we see Quan Chi wear Shao Kahn's helmet? Or perhaps even.....Reiko?

As for Shao Khan, I think he will play a part in the game somehow (maybe as a playable) and I hope he does.

If he does it should only be in a cameo/flashback. I don't think he should play any major part in the events of MKX, nor should there be any hints that he is somehow alive.

lmao at these posts. Glad everyone agrees. I think he, like many of the vets, are starting to get boring. I'm tired of seeing the exact same people every game. Many of them don't even be having anything worthwhile going on in the story and are simply there because of their seniority.

Not to me. I'm over a lot of the Black/Red Dragon plotlines.

I do still have a soft spot for Mavado though. Hsu Hao too but everyone hates Hsu so I guess I'll never see him again lol.
