okay so i just played 15 games of ranked play and lost all of them i know all the combos but im getting shit on lol. Player match is so easy though that i dont want to play that. I main Kung Lao and have not used any other character on this game. Now should I sell this game i rage quite a bit but im dealing with it. If i sell it im only going to get $33. I come from only playing FPS games like COD and Battlefield Hardline which im having a blast playing. This is like my second fighting game i play a little MK9 and barely tekken.

Absolutely not. Expect a ton of DLC including 4 already announced fighters and probably more. We're also getting klassic fatalities, more costumes, new living towers and who knows what else. I wouldn't be surprised if we got more backgrounds or even another boss. Though if it gets you so mad you want to kill someone, you probably should sell it off.

I wouldn't sell it just yet. Just practice practice practice and practice. You well get better. Now if you are genuinely just not enjoying it all then I guess you could sell it, but id give it some more time.

sounds like you need to grow up and mature more then sell the game.

Just play offline. Online play has always been a very small part of MK.

Well, if you're not happy with the game, I'm sure there's someone out there who'd be thrilled to pick it up at a discount. You could even make more of your money back if you offer it up on craigslist or something, I'm sure someone would pick it up for $50.

Anytime :)

Id say just keep with it for a little while longer. Fighting games can have a steep curve for newcomers or people that don't play them often. There are some really great players online too so losing is really just part of the whole experience, it happens to every single one of us so don't let that discourage you.

Keep playing and practicing, maybe try to figure out why those people are beating you and try to come up with a solution. Try different strategies and approaches, if you are rushing these guys down (playing very aggressively) and they are owning you, try sitting back and playing a little more defensively and see what happens. Hell you could even try learning a different character too, having a back up never hurts.

Get friends and play vs. the way God intended, on the couch with them present.
Yes, sell it...and use the money to get some yoga classes.
You have anger management issues. Who over the age of 12 would break a controller out of "rage" confused

At least The Krypt is in First Person mode grin

It's up to you man, if you feel it's not your cup of tea, then by all means go ahead and sell it. Although most of us here wouldn't even think of doing such a krazie thing like dat lol tongue

The game has been out just over a week. I still think it's too soon.

I know how you feel though. I finally jumped online today and am getting killed.current record is 6-21. The net code/input latency is **** for the game.

Personally I'm also finding very little to keep me going as well, although I won't sell the game. I have nearly all the alt skins, just hunting the few tricky ones (hotshot Johnny cage, revenent Liu kang, revenent Kung Lao, revenent kitana and empress kitana. I don't see myself playin online a lot afterwards, and the towers really don't intrest me all that much.

Is it just me, or does MKX seem way easier to unlock all the game's content compared to Mk9?

By your own admission, you're s bit of a neophyte when it comes to this genre. Sure, you can play and mash buttons and have fun. You can also go a level deeper and learn a characters moves and combos and study one character a bit as you have.

The next level, from my experience, at least, is to learn the fighting system, how to play opponents. How to utilize what your character, Kung Lao, can do and how to make up for his deficiencies. Learning not just how and when to act and react and with what, but how to train your opponent to act and react the way that you want them to.

How do you get through when your opponent is spamming and how do you use their spamming to your advantage? A good match can feel like a game of chess played at hyper speed with quick reads, reliably executed combos, smart meter usage and knowing how to keep your opponent close or away depending on where you want them.

If online is to hard for you, but you enjoy the fighting system, then train. Watch videos and streams of pros using your character and see what tech they rely on or discard. What normals they favor.

If this doesn't interest you, then I'd suggest branching out to other characters. Find more about the game that you want to learn and enjoy, again, if you actually enjoy the system.

If not... If you're bored of it for sure and the upcoming DLC doesn't interest you, then there's no shame in selling and picking up something you'll play more.

I'll probably get flak for this, but a humble suggestion of you're still interested in fighting games, Killer Instinct on Xbox One is one of the best I've played in years. Love MK since way back in the day, but KI's great too and the latest in the series is both deceptively easy to pick up yet very deep and tough to master. Plus it has awesome net code if you're dying to play online.

Whatever you decide, hope you keep playing fighters. From Mortal Kombat to Tekken, there are some great games out there if you're looking to have some fun.
