Shinnok does look like his best in this game. I would give his look a 10/10 Amazing.

I'd argue he has the best re-design of any character in the game. My top 5 favorite re-designs are-

1. Shinnok
2. Kitana
3. Kano
4. Ermac
5. Scorpion

I'll go with you on that. Outside of Kitana I don't see any great improvements, but they all look remarkably improved and distinct from MK9, so good or bad there is at least effort involved.

Shinnok getting an Emperor Palpy reference = win.

Really, guys? I dig the list, but no Quan Chi? After he's literally had the same effing costume since DA?

Shinnok, Kitana, Mileena, and Quan Chi are my tops, and Quan Chi fell off for me after DA. Although, it hurts to list them so, because there literally isn't a single design that I've disliked yet. (Waiting on official renders/screens for Special Forces Gray Jumpsuit Apparatus folks before I get too salty 'bout them.)

Those are just the most...surprisingly good, I guess. Reptile's is one of the weaker ones...of course. But I've said before that they'll NEVER find a decent median for him. His design always splits 50/50 within the community.

I have always felt Shinnok, like Kai, never got proper development. The MK4 comic seemed like such a great story, but the game, itself, failed miserably to make Shinnok, or the Brotherhood of Shadow, all that interesting. I liked his appearance in MKM: Sub-Zero, but, again, he was never fully realized as a true fighting character.

Here is hoping the notation of red lightning, and the return of some classic moves = the Shinnok we have been waiting for. He certainly has never looked better, or more godly. If one variation = his original moveset clone of another fighter, fine, but the other 2 variations better be unique to him, and make him the badass we have been waiting for.

Im gonna enjoy seeing him pimp slap Raiden and Fujin, and possibly Cassies's parents in the cut scenes. Hell, Mileena seems to think she has some sort of authority now a days, pimp slap that trick too. Shinnok about to do some damage!!!

I was thinking on this, what if that variation was actually Shang. Shao Khan basically kicked him to the curb, so what if Shinnok picked him up to be his stunt double? It probably doesn't fit with that amulet being so powerful after Shinnok is supposedly taped inside, but it would not only give Shang an important role in the story, it would give a reason he isn't playable, and add to Shinnok's sneaky mastermind-ness.

But one of Shinnok's abilities is that he could basically do what Shang can but without the morphing. He can mimic anybody's special moves. So I think that variation is based on that and I have no problem with it. I just hope the two other variations are actually focused on his skeleton hands, They are sooo awesome and they can do so much with them.

Yeah, I know and agree. It's more of just desperate hopes from a Shang Tsung fan who needs to know what happened to the poor guy. Just POOF he's gone. He still might be in zombie-Sindel for all we know.

But, yeah at least one variation focusing on the skele-hands is a must.

His re-design blew my mind. Easily my favorite look and outfit of all characters seen.
