now that they know what they are doing...i think they can make the mk franchise better than it was before

i actually like the shaolin monks format better than the traditional mk fighters and i garuntee they got more sales from SM than they did deception

my idea for SM 2

happens between mk2 and mk3

same 8 chars as in SM with maybe a couple more

my ideas for new chars

sektor- sub zero had a relationship with him at this time did he not?
i would like to see their relationship before sektor goes cyborg or maybe he already went cyborg and this is just befor he turns on sub zero

smoke- i was hoping for him in SM...but my hopes are distinguished

sonya- just cuz i think there should be a female(dont know much about her story sorry)

jax- would go good with sonya and deserves a revamp and him in SM sparked my interest in the hidden KANO fight

the controlls should stay the same but they should have some sort of move costomiser and/or special/combo costomizer

and maybe even a character costomizer

id love to have a four armed scorpion with metal arms and missiles and a razer hat..lmao!!!

SOUNDS BAD ASS MAN JUST DONT HAVE THE SAME PEOple playing the same parts have smoke and cyrax or seker for story mode but for it to be better have everone from MKII and MK3 in story mode even bosse as a secret grin

I wonder if they will make a shaolin monks 2 with liu kang and kung lao again, or a whole new adventure game starring a different character(s)...

I like the fighting games more and there is no way in HELL that Monks sold more then Deception, Deception was the fastest selling Midway game of all time. Anyways, i hope that there isnt a Monks2, i think the next adventure game wont have Monks in the title. I think its gonna be set around Mk3-4 time era, im sure liu kang, and kung lao will be in it but not main chars again like in this game. I hope that u get to play as more of the chars and not focused so much on just 2 char. I think the next game u should be able to choose from the whole earth realm fighters from mk3-4 (Sonya, Jax, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Cage, Kitana, ect). And i dont mean just in the versus mode because i know that u can already play as alot of these chars. I also hope that they upgrade the graphics.

I think there should be another adventure game, but not a SM2. The next one should explore the MK3 era as SM did MKII. I want to see Motaro, Stryker, Sheeva, and Sektor. tongue

MK Lin Kuei Warriors would be awsome!
i think it should take place as mk3 as shaolin monks was mk2

it could be 4 main chars all related to the lin kuei and 6 other chars (or 4)

the main characters for MK: Lin Kuei Warriors would be Sub Zero , Smoke (preferrably human) , sektor and cyrax , but if its around MK3 sub wasnt in the lin kuei , and was being hunted by smoke , sektor and cyrax so i dont see it happenin maybe they could base it around MK2 , who knows?
i loved MKSM as well. better than deception is my stance on it. they could refine the fighting system a little bit, but it plays rather well in VS and story mode. i like the idea of another subzero style adventure game, maybe one part has you playing as cyrax, hunting down smoke and subzero. the next part has you play as subzero, killing shuff and kicking cyrax's ass. then you get to be sektor, and hunt down subzero, only to lose. and finish it up wih smoke, hunting down the original subzero, now a noobsaibot! all within the MK3 realm, with guest apearances by the good forces, sindel, ermac, the twins, reptile, and scorpion kicking somebodies ass! just my htoughts.

I would bet $10,000 that they will make a sequal to MKSM! I have faith in them that it will be even better than MKSM. It will probably have a new name though, not MKSM2. wink

how do you do that? i have s.m and ive already beaten the game but i cant fight kano or find smoke for the smoke missions. also, does anybody know whats wrong with the game whenever you kill mileena in the living forest?

almost forgot to post my 2 cents. i think they will do one centered around quan chi, but it will be mk2-mk3 or mk4 storyline. just like the game they are VERY close to copying (xmen legends) they set up the next game in the ending video (anyone remember apocalypse coming up in the video after you beat general kinkaid?) and like the first, the sequel will create a new storyline, but at least some people will be revived. my idea for charecters:

main: liu, johnny, sonya, and jax.
story unlockable: kung lao, kitana, cyrax, and sub zero
vs. unlockable: above people, goro, noob saibot, mileena, reiko, quan chi, shinnok, scorpion and reptile (hopefully revamped from his awful half human half reptile state)
super hard to unlock people: meat, raiden, kai, fujin, and jarek. these people could also be unlocked regularly, but something has to be hard.
new unnamed mode: half of the above from start, half unlockable.
bonus games: mk4, and a demo for (depending on release dates) mk7 or another midway gem.

they should have sm2 be from the perspective of the evil characters...get to play as mileena, jade, sheeva, rain, reptile, ermac, sindel, sektor, cyrax, shao khan, and motaro (even though i hate him) and have a side story of what baraka was doing during mk3
