i say no because having the classic ninja look is why he is cool. if scorpion ever had a drastic change of costume, he wouldnt be as cool.

I think he needs a change alright. The tight spandex costume that he has with his MKD alternate/MKA primary costume is disgusting and needs to be scrapped. I suggest that his costumes take a strong influence from historical Ninja Yoroi (Ninja Armor) but be modified to give Scorpion that familiar look. That, along with fixing his story and personality will actually make him worthwhile and not the joke he is now.

He needs an epic storyline change.

I agree that costume made me sick to. Overall he needs some tuning he's just not the same anymore.

Spandex looks perfectly fine on male characters as long as the material is not too thin. Comic books feature that type of clothes all the time on both males and females so I don't know why it's such a difference seeing it on kombatants.

Anyway, I think it's important for any character to retain their classic look because it's afterall what makes them identifiable as the individual they are.

Especially, when a costume is great, it's usually hard to top, so next games might feature less interesting costumes.

The "updates" he's been receiving are good enough, I think. He doesn't need anything else. However, there is a reason we have ALTERNATE costumes and that is where he should get a seriously revolutionized look; something "alternate." It's terribly boring and annoying when both costumes look too alike, which has always been the case for Scorp.

It's not really a smart idea to drastically change classic outfits unless you know you can make it entirely better which is not the case most of the time. It happens once in a while though.

The X-Men's classic costumes, for instance, are not the ones they started off with.

Incidentally, I wouldn't mind seeing Scorp wear a skimpy-type costume like Kahn. That big manly voice of his must correspond with a big manly body if you know what I mean.

In my opinion they need to go back to the way Scorpion looked in the classic MK years. I guess that's why I love his look in MK:SM because it gave him that classic feeling again. I really don't like the armour costumes his had in the more recent games.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only because like everbody else say's he is a ninja (classic ninja) but if they do change his outfit they should remove the mask and be fighting with only his skull on flames and gear like the one in mk4

they should take everything back to the way they looking in mk1 and 2 because i think with the power of next gen with just the simplnesas of an outfit they could make it look more realistic and like reality because in real life fighters would not carry loads of shit around and be abe to fight like it so i think they should go back to looking like more people like in mk1 + 2+ 3 but obviously with next gen graphics.

I think that the DA outfit was crazy a, the problem with his current outfit, is that it's too simple, and Scorpion looks more like a cartoon now, with the big hands and big feet...they should focus in giving him the right human proportions

and regarding his story, they should have Noob Saibot be his new nemesis, since they were enemies in MK1, and killed eachother, it would make sense if Noob wanted revenge or something...

If they had a rivalry, and it was done like that, both of their stories would be terrible. Revenge should NOT, I repeat NOT be a factor in the rivalry. It's things like this that screwed Scorpion's story up.

Something relative to this for a strong alternate constume would be a wonderful update imO.

Yes, he should like something like Pred's concept. I don't mean an exact replica because I don't think a skirt-like outfit suits him since he sould look more agile because the powerful warrior that he is, and the upper body looks pretty flat, but something definitely never-before-seen like that would be cool for him. At least for an alt. He should so have a skull face.
