Scorpion should ditch the Mugai Ryu and advance his spearing skills for MK7

I was so amazed after unlocking Scorpion, and using his spear techniques in Shaolin Monks. The sad thing is the computer has more moves than the playable Scorpion. Like the part where Scorpion swings his spear around his legs and neck, that was some wicked shit, reminded me of how Iron Monkey used his whip chain in the movie.

I would love to see more of these implemented in MK7. Also, his demonic voice while fighting in Shaolin Monks should be in there also.


(Oh and don't forget the Toasty fatality, that's a classic!!!)

Yeah, moves with the spear were something many wanted for MKD but it neve rhappened. The thing was that many deemed the idea too much of a rip off of Ivy in Soul Calibur, but I think it'd be nice to see him do a little more with it. I've not yet unlocked him on MKSM, but I'll check out these moves when I do.
ok thats all tight, but what does that gotta do with murai ryu.
scorp is not in that klan no more, he was there before he was killed,since his dead his being a kick ass ninja from netherealm

lol...yeah...I find it odd that Scorpion had a Samurai swordfighting style like Mugai Ryu. He should use a Shinobi Katana with ninja swordfighting techniques and some kicks used in Ninpo Taijutsu.

Regarding the spear, well, I did post some ideas somewhere (maybe not at MKOnline) where it can have various move properties. I don't remember all the details in my head right now so I'll just have to get back to you on it.

The funny thing is, that ninja swords as a type were nonexistent. Shinobi weapons were either cheap replicas of the original samurai weapons with no curve, or simply robbed weapons of low quality.

I'm strongly against the idea top have a spear as his weapon. You can't defend yourself with that kind of tool. Let the spear remain a special move, as Scorpion should hold on into his ninja roots as strong as possible.
