Scorpion's teleport is punishable on block. The regular version is also punishable by simply D2/D4 like it was in MK9. Any decent player will punish it

Mortal Kombat is THE fighting game to learn to block.

Even the slower games have projectiles and teleports out the ass for 90% of the cast.

Lol I knew this thread was going to be made the second MIT beat the Kung Lao player. The teleport isn't much different that MK9 or Injustice Scorpion's teleport. Like people are saying just be prepared to block your ass off.

If anyone's teleport is annoying it's mileenas. Just cuz of the ex variation. Punishable but sometimes unpredictable.

Scorpion was annoying in Injustice pre-patch but that's it really.

OMG Scorpion does the same move over and over again, you can't beat that.

I remember Scorpion players in MK9 using the teleport/hellfire trap. They would spam teleport punches, so you would stand and block only to get caught with his hellfire! This is hardly new.

I curse the day Boon came up with hellfire for Scorpion. He was probably annoyed at scrubs making his boy look bad by constantly spamming teleports and spears and getting subsequently punished so he decided to add an unblockable special as to turn every fight against Scorpion users into a shitty rock/paper/scissors guessing game.

I only teleport mid-combo with scorpion, or in air when the other player jumps with me. Other than that it's way too punishable to risk randomly doing it.
