Just watched the video. I'm thinking that the guy just doesn't know what he's talking about. I hope they are both in personally, mileena is a given.

The guy wouldn't just say it just to say it.
He's reading a script and scripts have to go through an approval process. This is very reliable.
I just want Mileena.

How is Shao Kahn pulling out Shang's soul, transferring it into Sindel and then Sindel being destroyed by Nightwolf not proof that Shang died?

He vanished. We never saw definitive prove he died. Besides, I thought we did get some kind of confirmation/hint from the developers that he didn't die in MK9? Was it Vogel? Or maybe I am imagining things on that front...either way we certainly did not see him die/dead.

All the evidence points to him being dead, especially after Sindel was disintegrated.

I thought Shao Kahn killed him when he took his soul and gave it to Sindel. Isn't that what happened?

Explain his return? He didn't die...
That's a good thing, perfectly fine with me.

If true, it totally subverts last expectations for new generation stuff that remained.
Mileena was expected, but Tsung...? I wonder how they explain his return.

Maybe it broke the spell of the entire thing when kahn was defeated. Thus possibly giving Quan Chi the option to pass Shangs Soul back into his body with necromancy.

thats what i thought until i saw the character select as the demo screen. it doesnt look official it looks like a random youtuber not a gamestop commercial. if they only wanted that select screen shown why approve the script or whatever. i think they are both in anyways im just saying lol

Most of the footage in Gamestop commercials is older, but the info is current.
