I mean they fucking took out the best characters in MK9 and left us the shitty ones.

They ruined Ermac. Dude was badass before. Now he looks like a decrepit, effeminate fighter with some really wierd looking strings.

Atleast Johnny Cage and Kung Lao look awesome.

I LOVE the roster. Great mix of new and old.

That's not to say I don't want more...I'll gladly take more MK9 characters as down the line DLC, I'd rather some 3D Era guys first though.

Very lousy roster with the exception of Goro and Erron black I am not overly hyped to play as anyone really out of the new charcaters I am looking forward to Erron black, Kotal, and Takeda out of the old ones, scorpion, Goro, kenshi, Shinnok and that's about it everyone else looks boring I can't believe they have 3 cage family members stupid Jax and his daughter two Kungs and friggin Liu Kang is back!!! Roster makes me so mad I really hope there is more but I doubt it, no reiko, no Havik, no fujin, no smoke, no Noob, no cyborgs nobody interesting!!!!

As disappointing as the Kombat pack is those 4 charcaters interest me a hell of lot more then the vast majority of the starting roster but still feel it will be a waste of money.

I am sure gameplay will be awesome and the game will be fun and the story will be wicked but God damn it is a lousy roster and I can't suppress my dissapointmen with it!

Didn't mean this to be about the roster itself, just the fact that they revealed / spoiled every character it seems with Liu Kang (though he was a given).

The fun was secret fights and unlocking characters that you did not know about, so it was just wondering if people think we will get some surprises.

Ah, I get what your sayin then. In that case, and this is a horseshit answer so I apologize, but people ruined it for themselves. Its 2015, of course shit is gonna leak, if they REALLY didn't wanna know they should have stopped coming to this type of site. I know what its like to get caught in the hype trap tho and be unable to help yourself, as I'm pretty much in that now.

But yeah, I certainly hope there are some roster surprises, but I wouldn't bet on it. The rosters still not set in stone and confirmed 100% yet tho so you never know. I consider Tremor and Tanya to be pretty big fuckin surprises but I know you're not talking DLC.

I think Fujin might find his way into the main roster or Baraka.

I think right now the roster is legit. But I'm speaking heavily on my own two cents. Everyone is different and I don't blame those who are in discomfort over the roster as is right now.

I, like many others, was expecting a roster comprised of ONLY the surviving cast....And letting the dead stay dead, and actually give credibility to the story....

sonya,cage,reptile,baraka, scorpion, subzero in one form or another, quanchi, raiden, mileena and kano, should have been all that come back....

But no, NRs caved into nostaligic fuck wads who cant get over mk3 era...

Despite my constant bitching- I think this roster isn't terrible- It's just missing some more colorful faces. Give me maybe 5-6 more 3D era characters and I"m fine. Hell, Just give me 3 more and I'll shut up lol

Why Im sure that once Fujin and Reiko had been announced people will still be complaining about something? Fucking tremor did ir into the roster snd NOW no one seems too happy about it

I loved the roster, to me Kitana, Jax and Kung Lao should not be playable given the fact that they died, but the three of them are very popular so I understand their decision.

The only changes I would do to the roster would replace those three with Fujin, Rain and Baraka.

I think we have a decent roster. The new characters look a lot of fun to play so far! In terms of returning characters I think they were a bit too samey and we have a lot of special forces human characters, but the addition of Havik, Fujin and Li Mei would make me very happy, or just more 3D era characters in general to spice things up a bit.

Worse is the way they were killed.

The roster isn't bad is just so expected we sort of keep expecting something to be revealed that surprised us, the closest I was to that was with the kombat pack. The main roster is MK1-2 + New and way too many human SF. It is solid in the sense in includes many klassics and their offspring, but it feels like is missing a strong antagonist group that directly opposes the main heroes, (the Netherrealm war is already over) and some factions are very under represented. It definitely feels underwhelming and lacking.

I like the roster. There are definitely a few faces I don't care about (Kano, Jax, Sonya, Kung Jin) but there are still plenty of other characters I like and cant wait to play, its going to be a bitch for me to narrow it down to just 2 or 3 mains
