Revenant Custom Intros?

Ok, I asked this in the story mode stream thread and may have gotten an answer but there were so much going on I probably missed it.

But will characters like Liu, Kitana, Jax, and Lao get intros that reflect their revenant skins?

Meaning if I play as revenant Jax will his intro with Sonya reflect that personality?

Liu Kang and Kitana seem extra fierce in their intros already, compared to their previous incarnations. Kung Lao, however seems like his old self, only a lot cooler. It'd be interesting to see, although if they do anything more than put the posessed talking-through-a-fan filter on their voices, I'd be impressed.

@MKMileena, lmao God no. I was just using them as example. If I did mess around with Jax or Liu or Kitana I'd use their revenant versions but it'd be irritating to have them not sound...well evil. Kung-Lao sounded pretty cheery when talking to Johnny and when I'm playing as revenant Lao I don't want that lol.

Thus far I haven't seen any evidence of anyone unlocking any of the revenent skins.

I'm sure there's a way. Would be a huge waste if they weren't. Maybe via mobile? Maybe winning them via special events in the living towers?

But I have yet to see one popup as an unlockable, or be seen outside story mode in any of the streams... so... I don't think we know yet.

Yeah it would be cool if the revenant versions had different dialogues, though maybe it would be adding too much considering how many dialogues there are already in the game. There are some specific ones that I think could be "atributed" to the revenant stage of the character.

I can confirm that the Revenant skins are unlockable.

How? No idea but they are listed as costumes ingame.

I really hope we get revenant skins, and hopefully not as DLC, I love revenant Sub-Zero, I like that costume better than his primary tbh.

I wonder if there will be a "Revenant Mode" like Injustice's "Zombie Mode"
a cheap grey skin, yellow glow and yellow eyes for the chars that weren't revenant

I'm pretty sure the outfits are unlockable, no reason why they wouldn't be.

Yeah this was something I have been thinking about too, hopefully we get playable them in some shape or form

Although it would be weird having Revenant outfits with the revenant mode, but I think NRS could sort that out.
