Noob Saibot is referenced in an arcade ending.

There are a lot of little nods and references in towers and tags. The franchise hasn't deleted its characters completely. They're just on the bench.

First off...how did you get the Noob one....

Second, I don't think that hints towards anything. There are character cards for Cyrax, Baraka, and Rain also.

If Reiko and Noob Saibot are in, at this rate it's safe to say any fighter has a chance to be drafted. Perhaps all MK fighters have been designed but are being retained. With the huge chunk of characters in the comics and MKX combined, the rest are greatly outnumbered. I think nearly every single imperative character has played a part (whether it be NPC's, featured in endings or just mentions as well).

I know Reiko is in the comics however the only thing the game and comics have in common is the name very little from the comic actually made it to the game. Where is Reiko mentioned in the story? I must have missed that

Also where is noob referenced in an arcade ending? Whose ending I have see. Them all and can't remember him in any?

I know rain, sindel, Baraja and cyrax all have backgrounds to but all
Of those bar cyrax already appeared in the story mode so it would make sense and cyrax is mentioned in kustom kombat however noob and Reiko are not anywhere which I think sets them apart a bit.

Who knows maybe noob, cyrax and Reiko for future dlc!

What exactly do you mean? You mean characters who are mentioned in other character's bios.

Because in addition to the NPC characters and the comic characters, Shojinko and Khameleon are also shown in Cassie and Reptile's Tower Endings, respectively.

It's worth pointing out that Noob Saibot has a new render as a support card in the mobile version of MKX. He's one of Sub-Zero's attachments.

The Skull Island background you get for reaching level 65 looks like it would be an awesome FREE DLC Stage!!!

These characters having eye-closeup backgrounds is actually a very strong statement that they WON'T be DLC -- every PC has one, as the core for their kard 'sets', and Tanya's has been saved for her release.

Potential DLC characters who do NOT have one of these already in-game, apart from Tanya: Rain, Sindel, Baraka, Fujin, Li Mei, Frost, Smoke, Sareena.

Thats mobile. I highly doubt that means anything. At most, q mobile only character.

The Noob render is just Revenant Sub-Zero with a hood in black.

I woulda posted a picture, but I don't know how. The Noob Saibot render comes out at the 58 second mark.

We might see Reiko in the future, but we'll likely see Smoke first. We probably won't get Noob because some characters just have to stay dead to give the story some weight. Smoke's new "Enenra" persona seems to be an amalgam of Noob and Smoke. We probably won't have to wait long as I think its safe to say characters that actually appear in gameplay were pre-planned to be DLC and their MK9 mockups are intended to be updated.

(Smoke, Sindel, Tanya, Rain, and Baraka are all functional in game.) Smoke has a new design but for some reason appears as his MK9 skin in the Smoke's revenge faction kill.)

(I would also bet on Frost and Sareena. Hell, Sareena doesn't even look finished in her cutscene.)

I would certainly love Smoke back in MKX(my 2nd most wanted character),but damn it man,don't give me hope T.T

Ehhh, it can't be helped. I mean, I don't understand why NRS finds it so hard to just use assets it currently has in the game to create cheap but easy iterations of certain characters for the Secret Tower fights. Would it have been painful to just texture Mournful Kitana green instead of blue and pretend she was Jade? Would it have been hard to give a Revenant Sub Zero a hood, color him black, and then give him a borrowed moveset from MK9? MK9 used its own assets to create characters in its Challenge Towers, too. Cyber Reptile was just a recolored Cyber Sub Zero, there was a Tarkatan general who was just a very big Baraka clone, there was an Inferno Scorpion, and so on so forth. I don't think it'd be hard to please anyone with such a simple concept.

No no no I don't mean in the MK mobile game I mean in MKX in the player kard or what ever it is called there is a background for noob and Reiko, yes there are for many other characters to like sindel, cyrax, sector and a few others but it is strange I think that neither noob or Reiko are mentioned anywhere else in the game especially Reiko considering he would no where near be considered a classic or fan favourite in the league of noob I think it is a strange coincidence that he has a background in the game

Have you seen it? Following the war on Shinnok, Kotal sends Reptile to spy on earthrealm while its being rebuilt and Reptile finds a hole in the ground that leads to a group of Saurians who never left earth for Zaterra and are still alive. He joins them, kneeling down before their queen. Some people assume Khameleon is the queen but there's nothing that confirms that.

Considering the Carl skin for Jax or the purposed JCVD skin for Johnny Cage, I suppose a Jade skin for Kitana is possible.

As for Noob. Turns out Enenra is a pre-existing mythological creature. It feels alittle like Noob and Smoke are slowly becoming analogous characters.
