Even though we now have an R18 rating for games since January 2013, I sincerely hope it does NOT get refused classification like Saints Row IV and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 even after we had the R18 rating. :( Can totally see this new MK being absolutely brutal with the unreal engine 4 and getting refused...

I suppose its easy enough to order from another country as I did with MK9. Still I'd like the option to be able to buy in my own country without worrying if I'm going to get an import fine! furious

The only reason SR4 was refused was because it contained sexual violence and drugs being a reward for tasks

See below

"In the Board's opinion, Saints Row IV, includes interactive, visual depictions of implied sexual violence which are not justified by context," reads the ACB's statement. "In addition, the game includes elements of illicit or proscribed drug use related to incentives or rewards. Such depictions are prohibited by the computer games guidelines."

MK doesn't do either of those so it will be ok in Aus

I hope MKX will get refused in Australia. And I hope it causes such a riot that the government will have to change the whole system for these classifications! This would mean a more permanent change instead of MK fans sitting at home, crossing their fingers and hopes for the game to slip through, which it most likely won't.

Don't just hope for the best, Australia! Fight for getting the system to change!
