You know, everyone who brings up Nightwolf being stereotypical forget to ask themselves this: Is he a degrading stereotype?

Because to me, there's nothing about him that I feel makes him seem pathetic. I know people tend to bring up him looking like a village person, but I don't see what's degrading about that. I didn't find his look all that goofy.

Nightwolf in MK9 was portrayed as one of the most powerful fighters, and was the one who destroyed Sindel. Before that he killed Noob fucking Saibot (who seems like he'll actually stay dead for MKX). If he's a joke character, then MK must take it's jokes rather seriously.

As for the possibility of Erron Black killing him being racist, well, it's a fighting game, so Nightwolf could also kill Erron, so in short, that shouldn't be an issue.

This sounds a bit like Killer Instinct's Retro Thunder issue, where people for some reason don't have a problem with Thunder's current, equally stereotypical design, but think his old one was oh-so disrecpectful. Is Nightwolf's design, and entire character, so much worse than the current version of Thunder?

Nightwolf needs a complete overhaul before he comes back. I know this isn't cannon and more so my projecting- But I've always envisioned him as this badass tough biker type guy who was proud of his Native American roots but wasn't defined by it. Then in Deception he was this stereotypical "medicine man" and has bored me since.

Like I said, the former is probably me projecting but my projection is more interesting than the character actually was. lmao "FOR MY ANCESTORS!!!" Ahhh shut it.

The issue HAS been brought up in the past. I`m not saying it`s the only reason, but they may have finally bowed to pressure.
