1. Dead Woods - Simple, yet effective. I am not sure why, maybe it subconsciously reminds me of the Living Forest for some reason idk, its dark and there are trees with not a lot of stuff going on, I love it.

2. The Kove - Not sure why I like this one, the pier you fight on with the waves crashing into the dock are really awesome, not to mention all the stuff floating in the waves are a nice touch, I like this one a lot. It and Dead Woods could be tied.

3. Krossroads - I like this one a lot, its dark and there isn't a whole lot of nonsense going on in the background but there are some really nice touches, such as the path/road on the right side of the stage and Quan's fortress floating in the background, its really good looking IMO.

4. Kuatan Jungle - The whole jungle aspect of this is cool, I don't really have much to say about it other than its one of the ones I like.

5.Qaun's Fortress - I like the detail put into this stage, and it gives off a cultish like vibe that I enjoy, plus the touch of Kahn's armor and hammer are a nice touch.

6. Lin Kuei Temple - Simple, but still "MKish" the large statue in the middle holding the fire is great, plus the background detail is nice.

7. Sky Temple - The rain, the tornadoes in the background, the lighting flashes, the praying monks, just everything about this stage is cool, and it still manages to give off a MK vibe that I like, which other stages lack, IMO.

I cant even rank because I just don't like them, or at least not enough to rank any of them above/below each other. Though I will admit I do like playing the training stage when I am playing a Special Forces related character.

Pretty much *all* the MKX stages are so brown and ugly. I miss the more vibrant color palette of MK9. Unfortunately, NRS seems to have bought into the "Real Is Brown" trope.

Dislike - The Training Room

Training Room is pointless, it's not even used at any point during the story and isn't ever included on arena rotations - it's a pointless arena that could've been used for something much better.

Training Room- I like for being so different to the others. Futuristic holograms and the screens in the back wall showing what's actually happening is a really nice touch. Shame there's nothing original about it though, being that it borrows it interactibles from other stages.

I do like them all but these are my favourites.
Outworld Market Place- Blanche-ality!
Refugee Kamp- Keep your eyes peeled on that portal!
Quan Chi's Fortress- Evil 'man cave', LOL
Kove- Extremely pretty water effects.
Kuatan Jungle- Very nice lush setting.
Sky Temple- Don't kill the monk!

I find the stages have so much going on in them it's actually kinda distracting from the kombat. Which is bad considering the pace got jacked up to 11 since the last MK. It's nice to watch someone else fight to get a chance to actually notice all the details.

My facorites are the Kuatan Jungle, Outworld Marketplace and Emperors Courtyard. They're the best looking and I like all the interactions. Netherrealm Krossroads and Lin Kuei temple are decent too.

Am not keen on the Jinsei Chamber or Refugee Camp.

I really like all of the stages though, but I think this is the order of my list. I'm fine with playing on any stage really, I would definitely not be against getting some DLC stages though.

Not only are the MKX stages so dull,dreary and uninspired but the music sucks as well, not one tune is catchy!

Only Stages I pick are Krossroads and the Jungle Ive gotten bored of both by now,

the lin Kuei temple has such beautiful sceneary with the sun set and the mountains but the buddah statue and the coffins ruin the background. they should have kept it simple.

This, this and this. Srs i thought nobody gave a F. yeah stages are boring and lack MK elements.. i just like the sitting monk in middle of the stage. and maybe another 1 or 2. i still dont own the game

1. Destroyed City - I like how calm this stage is. Also it reminds me of that one stage in MK9 with the car stage fatality. I liked that one. And the dogs attacking the man in the background is funny to see

2. The Kove - The waves in the background are very nice, and it's cool that they added a random body that gets thrown out of the water every so often.

3. Dead Woods - Also a pretty calm stage. Very detailed woods and has a nice story to it if you look at the background

4. Sky Temple - The stage starts off with just rain. Then lightening comes and multiple tornadoes and everything. Goes wrong but it makes the stage alive and beautiful

5. Jinsei Chamber - I like the colors and the statues in the background look like they're crying

6. Kuatan Jungle - I like the way it looks and the animals. But I don't like getting dirt on my pants.

7. Lin Kuei Temple - My boy Sub-Zero lives here. But there's really nothing to this stage

8. Krossroads - Quan Chi's fortress is in the background. And doing Kenshi's "Tele-Copter" fatality on that stage makes him look badazz

9. Quan Chi's Fortress - Nice and very detailed. And is that Shao Kahn being made in the background?

10. Outworld Marketplace - Boring stage. Only cool thing about it is Blanche and her Brutality

11. Emporer's Kourtyard - Even more boring

12. Training Stage - Nothing about this stage

13. Refugee Kamp - Don't know why, but I hate this stage. I like the background though. Reminds me of Gotham.
