Rain has been missing for a long time and many people want to see him come back so heres the theory first read this
"Rain fights valiantly for the emperor Shao Kahn. But it would be Kahn's own step daughter, the princess Kitana who turns Rain against him. Like Kitana, Rain's origins also come from their former realm of Edenia. He learns that his father was once a general in Edenia's army and died at the hands of Shao Kahn himself. Enraged at the truth about his history, he joins Kitana in aligning with the Earth realm warriors. But his allegiance comes under question when he mysteriously disappears during an extermination squad attack. To prove his loyalty he embarked on a suicide mission to destroy Shao Kahn and end the menace once and for all."

okay so it says mission and missions normally take years to complete so heres the theory rain wasnt really ready to fight shao kahn and he knew that because he was probably smart enough to realize that shao kahn was a great warrior and could easily kill him so rain goes and seeks the assistance of a trainer not bo rai cho that fat ass needs to get out of mk... but he seeks the assistance of a surviving edenian trainer and he has been training the past two mk's getting ready to get his shot at shao kahn that isnt dead now bcuz the gamecubers wanted mk on their system. he will probably wear like normal ninja pants and a sleeveless ninja shirt that would suit him i think i also should think that he will fall in love with kitana and will have to competer with lui for her love which will add a whole other layer to his character what do you guys think??
