Kitana is left to rule Edenia alone....sorta. Liu Kang betrays everyone and becomes evil. Mileena and Jade have perished and finally Sindel, but before she dies. Kitana states how she cannot rule over a land alone. Sindel ensures her that she wont have to. As Sindel passes away her soul enters Kitana, now using it as a "host" of sorts to rule together.

This could give Kitana a fighting style I'll call "Heir Apparent" which would closely resemble Sindel both with looks and moves.

Looks-Give her a wardrobe similar to Sindel in MK9 just make it blue. Also add a white stripe in her hair similar to Sindel's black stripe in hers.

Soul Scream: Kitana uses her fans to let out a scream which will draw the opponent in rather than lift them

Hairwhip: She uses her already extensively long hair to throw the opponent
