pure speculation... Shinnok, hidden fight, story mode

I was just thinking, again. Ouch.

So, during the last reveal trailer Quan Chi says something to kitana like "you think YOU can kill me?", I forget exactly but it sounds like he has lost control of the souls had in the Netherrealm. Who besides Quan Chi could release them?

Maybe Shinnok? Ed said the final boss will be surprising. So maybe Shinnok isn't the final boss but a hidden fight. I'm wondering if he is a non playable fight in story mode, or dare I say it a ........ Super Unlockable.

If I worked at NRS I would have Shinnok only appear on the tower as the final final boss after you complete story mode. Plot twist, Shinnok is behind more than we think through out story mode.

I'm sure that Quan Chi says "Finnaly found a way to kill me ? " Kitana reply's " I know of many ! " .

I'm thinking Lui Kang is the end boss.

Shinnok needs to be playable from the main roster! Still sticking with him for boot #6.

Agreed. I think it looks a lot like his MK4 boot, I would love for it to be him.

I think Boon was referring to the story mode boss if anything. It wouldn't make sense if Liu Kang was the ladder boss, because the fight against him will be a more personal matter. Shinnok should be the ladder boss. Goro and a new character should be sub-bosses.

If Shinnok's in, he has to have some sick moves, and a better bio.

As an Elder God, his moves were garbage in MK:A. They should improve that dealing with Shinnok.

Apparently the netherrealm wars are over and raiden fixed the barriers. shinnok and quan chi probably get their asses kicked quicker than we think. As in he's just a playable character and not a boss like character. I wouldn't mind an unplayable overpowered shinnok but I don't think that's where they are going with it.
