It's not the game, it's PSN being down. If you disconnect your PS4 from the network the game will start. Same thing happened to me a moment ago. It's probably doing some sort of online check.

No I haven't had these issues, but PSN in general has been acting funky today, so that's probably all it is.

Isn't PS always having problems, though? My best friend traded his in because of it. Well, that and the fact that "PSN seems to get hacked every 5 minutes." I'm not dogging, just seriously want to know. I want both consoles one day.

PSN got hacked once like two years ago, other than that I'd say like once every two months it will be down for like an hour randomly. It's pretty much the same as xbox other than the big hack they had awhile ago.

Yea same thing happened to me last night. Held down the power button on the controller to do a reset and that did the trick.

The game shouldn't just crash or not load like this because PSN is down...I've had the game not load beyond the copyright screen many times since launch...As well as the game crashing selecting towers (even the offline one), that issue only started happening after the last patch, not sure if that's causing it...

Yeah it never happened to me before, I thought the game was completely broken! It would be nice if playstation let you know there was a network issue.
