PS4 and Xbox One Resolutions? Performance?

Has anyone heard what the differences will be between Xbox One and PS4 versions graphically? I noticed NRS always uses PS4. I have an Xbox One and I wanted to know if this game will be running lower than 1080p?

In that story mode preview, they were using Xbox. Notice the QTE buttons.

But I've heard mixed opinions. I personally prefer PS, but it has a lot to do with my preference for it's controller. As for resolution, I'll be disappointed if it's not in 1080p. My PS3 games run in 720, but this is next gen so I'd assume it would be 1080p.

Boon has stated many times that the game will run in 1080P @ 60FPS. Have no fear. Both Xbox One and PS4 will run at that.

Thank you, I hope so too. I am not a fanboy, I like all consoles. But if PS4 is going to be the primary for MKX, I may splurge. I wonder if any textures or effects were downgraded for Xbox One so it could run at higher resolution and 60fps.

I know this is next gen, but MK9 for me ran much better on my 360 than PS3. Going to fatality, beginning of fatality, and transitioning to x-rays were all pretty laggy, even just fighting against the computer.

I'm praying that it doesn't happen again tho, especially because I bought a PS4. It was just severely noticeable on playstation for me.
I am leaning toward differences that may be subtle. I am playing MKX with a group the following weekend on a PS4, so I will be able to see (if I notice) what performance and visual differences there may be.

I don't want to cancel my Xbox One pre-order on an assumption but here's hoping for very close results between the two. There just isn't enough time to wait for an in-depth comparison post launch.

Dam near every interview Ed has given he has mentioned 3 things

1. The game will run in 1080P @ 60FPS. Have no fear. Both Xbox One and PS4 will run at that.

2. They have Fatality meetings

3. Scorpion and Freddy were the best selling DLC

I am hopeful that is true, but also with minimal shortcuts taken on Xbox One such as texture resolution, lighting, and particle effect reductions.

Unless they have done some sorcery and actually nailed graphical parity.

Eh, I dont think any texture/particle etc. differences will happen with the XB1. The game is really not THAT graphically impressive. Its good, but nothing crazy.

Also, NRS likely developed according to a lowest-common-baseline for both consoles. It happens a lot with modern AAA titles. Studios rarely spend much time optimizing different ports of third party titles anymore.

I do too, and not to start a console debate, I have an Xbox One because I like the games. But I do have fears for games like MKX and Arkham Knight. Multi-platform games can shine brighter on the stronger hardware. But it is not always 100% true.
Anyone find a comparison yet?

The PS4 runs at native 1080p which is 1080x1920 pixels. The XB1 runs at 1080x1360 pixels.

Both run at 60 fps.

That is according to what I have read.

If the xbone has been reduced it's not noticeable at all. I own both consoles but prefer gaming on my xbox. I have not noticed anything. Looks like what a saw on streams. Plays very smooth. Only problem is the online sometimes is a bit Laggy but I'm sure that's all versions.
