Potential Deaths in MKX
Potential Deaths in MKX
What memorable death scenes are you looking forward to in the MKX Sotry Mode and describe them in your imagination.
Mine so far:
Baraka getting sliced in half by Kung Lao
Raiden getting his chest punched through by Liu Kang
Mileena getting kicked off from a cliff ("Time to face gravity" 007 scenario scene)
Cassie shooting Kano's laser eye in operation that causes it to explode, blowing off half of Kano's face
Quan Chi getting stabbed in the back by Sareena while Sub-Zero stabs an icicle through Quan Chi's chest. Quan Chi falls down for a moment, but gets up ready to stab Sub-Zero behind the back for a surprise attack, but Scorpion's spear goes right through his skull and pulls it back to Scorpion. Then as some Netherrealm machination wheel goes by, Scorpion makes a hell pun and stuffs both of the still living Quan Chi's hands into a living soul wall and attaches to him. Quan Chi struggles to pull his arms out, but as he once frees one arm, the wheel just comes upon him and he screams his pussy yell as the wheel slowly crushes him.

I want Kano to finally bite the bullet, he is one of the few MK1-UMK3 characters that have overstayed their welcome for me lol
I wouldn't mind seeing Mileena take out Kitana
I also would like to see Quan Chi finally get his, but that's unlikely, and even if it happens Quan seems like the kind of dude that has some sort of back up plan for such a situation.
- I have a feeling kano is going to die which will make me sad but as long as its in an epic and justifiable way I'd be ok with it. But to be really honest I would like if he was defeated and badly injured but managed to escape ans survive and could possible return in Future games as an actual Leader of the Black Dragon while bring up the "Next generation"
**Although I do like the idea of Cassie Shooting him in his Bionic Eye which causes it to explode and injuring him**
- Raiden has Fallen! Fujin replaces him
- If Shang Tsung is to return have Reptile betray him and head out on his own!

Anyone who dies will be back in MK11, so it ultimately doesn't matter to me

These folks die and come back more times then Freddy Kreuger In all his 7 movies combined.
I don't know about memorable, I just wonder if NRS is driving itself into a corner by letting characters get too old, I mean, what are they going to do if the next game skips time again? humans can't live forever, except by doing another reboot.

Liu Kang should give Raiden the same treatment he got, but in a different way and worse. Liu uses his inner fire (tribute to his MK3 Fatality) and burns Raiden to a crisp. Liu then gives the crisp corpse a blow with his fist and turns Raiden into debris
I don't see Kitana and Mileena having that much of a beef with each other (they will have one though), knowing Kotal will have a huge beef with Mileena for the throne of Outworld.
Since Kotal takes over, Mileena could die..?
I can see Fire & Ice teaming up to kill Quan or at least try.

Yep, proven with Kung Lao and Kitana returning. Although come to think of it, Scorpion was proof all along that the dead can return to the world of the living.
As much as death reeeeeeally seems to never work in MK anymore, rather it be the new way all characters are conveniently revived or the random reappearance of dead characters from MK1-MKD in MKA, I really do hope there are some ramifications for character deaths in this game. Maybe Shinnok and Quan Chi finally bite the bullet for good this time around and no one evil who can linger in the Netherrealm can revive dead souls anymore.
That Quan Chi death scene does sound very delightful and as much as he's f'd up the MK universe before he would really need a meaningful death scene. I really want this game's story to be on parr with Injustice's story mode or even better. It seems so far with each new game Netherrealm has done since MK/DC their story writing abilities have gotten better and better.
I agree with most people on here and really do anticipate a Raiden death scene that will have him getting replaced, possibly by Fujin or a dark Liu Kang.

Scorpion isn't technically alive though.

No matter who dies, I think a lot of us can agree that it shouldn't be done like the last game. It felt completely forced and I absolutely hated how it happened.

Not even going to bother speculating on death in Mortal kombat any more because everybody who dies will come back at a point or another.

I have a feeling Reptile will die on this one. I like him a whole lot but lets be serious. He doesn't have much of a chance against the heroes.
I'm legit worried for Kotal at this point.
As far as rulers of Outworld go, he's about as reasonable and level-headed as it gets, and aside from maybe Ermac (+/- Jerrod as the dominant personality), he's the guy you want to be in charge of that shithole. Aside from an odd exception here and there, NRS aren't generally known for killing off newcomers in the same game they're introduced in, so maybe there's hope for him yet. Outworld desperately needs a new status quo.

If Mileena is in the game and her role is that of a challenger for the throne of Outworld, I totally foresee her getting killed off in favor of Kotal.
Killed off for a few minutes, at least. We all know how that works.

I Wasn't saying like it was a good thing. I am just done at this point. Totaly and utterly defeated and now just role my eyes and accept that death is meaningless in MK.
Unless the death involves someone who a major part of the MK team hates(right Vogel). Then yeah they're coming back stapled together, zombified, specterized, or well name all the other stupid cop out ways someone came back to life in MK.
My favorite is Shao Kahn and his little clone swap.
