Possible death of Sonya Blade ?

I was wondering.
Seeing the comics and the story mode trailer.

I am thinking Sonya is going to die while trying to rescue Cassie.
I Would hate to see her die she is my favorite but i have a feeling Sonya and Johnny are going to bite the dust.
That is Why Cassie is joining the special Forces to follow in her Mothers footsteps.

And Why add Sonya Johnny and Cassie ( i don't mind all three ) but we have to be realistic.

I think they show her dead in the scene where Raiden imprisons Shinnok. You can see her laying on the floor. Most likely Shinnok kills her.

R.I.P Sonya Blade.

Nah, none will die Don't forget the leaks (Sonya was seen in the tower, and the Faction War image) and hints about them. Also the Comic. They both have a strong role and they will be in MKX to interact with Cassie hopefully Playable too Cassie isn't an excuse anymore for them to not be playable. Kung Jin and Kung Lao are both playable Jacqui Briggs and Jax (he was seen in the tower and mentioned in story mode by Cassie along with Sonya) Takeda i don't know about Kenshi unfortunately So no problem on having Sonya and Johnny, though the roster will be big... 30+ characters, i do not doubt it!

She's probably DLC and should be. We have 4 new earthrealm warriors in Takeda, Kung Jin, Jacqui & Cassie. Before we had Liu Kang, Johnny cage, Sonya & Jax. So imo these 4 should just take over and if one of the latter 3 appears (Liu Kang still has a chance to be special by becoming a fire god), it should be DLC. Time to stop clinging to the past!

I do agree with you to a certain point.
They need to give the torch over to their kids.
But Johnny and Sonya had a big part in the ending of mk9.
So it seems silly to me they are not playable in this one.
Or they should just make a Mortal Kombat 9.5 doing the events between Mk9 and Mk10.

I hope they make it in at the start. But i can handle a dlc only of they are dlc right from the beginning.

Now we're getting these troll-bait threads from Sonya fans, too?

All you're doing is giving people who are angry and scared for their apparently scorned favorites another shiny new stage wherefrom to tell everyone how angry and scared they are. We've had these threads for 10 months now, even through multiple indications of her inclusion. Cue the "waste of a roster spot" sob story, which I've already calmly invalidated in another thread not 2 weeks ago, and the post of which I'll gladly copy/paste here again if anyone wants to insist their crying is based on actual logic and reasoning.

It was just a question...... And I'm new and did not see all these threads you are talking about.
I really hope and think she is in.
But all this new footage is making me doubt what i hope and think.
Maybe i am hoping so much she is in that is clouds my judgement.

I mean i am the Guy who alsways said that Rogue Would be in x-men days of future past because i was hoping so much the cut was a stunt.
