Popular characters who die should be turned into create-a-character parts in future games. To cut down on rectons.

MIdway could put the CaC to good use in future MK games by doing this. One of the main reason so many characters die then come back is due to heavy fan demand for their return. And it would eliminate the urge to recton dead characters, without totally blowing off their large fanbases.

Basicly they the more popular dead characters and turn dice up their outfits\haircut and place them as parts in the CaC editor. Or to save time, just their "trademark" parts (Cage's haircut and shades, Shao Kahn helmet, Shang Tsung's robes). The more generic pieces of their outfits could be improvised.

Even better they could throw their special moves into a general pool that CaC fighters can choose from. Such a pool is needed anyway, so created fighter don't only use specials from the current game's roster. Basic attack moves and fatalities would still have to be picked by the player from the standard list. It would cut into development time too much otherwise.

Well at least it seems like a decent idea too me. It'd cut back rectons, use much less development time then making them "guest" fighters, and at least please their fanbases alittle.
