Nimble characters to do Tricking/Team Tricking during cutscenes and when they tag in their partner (and switch out).
Character specializations/supernatural abilities with parkour movement i.e. Athletic realism. The philosophy behind the mindset of Le Parkourists is drawn from a surprising set of mainstream, modern, cultural references; Star Wars, Yoda, the Jedi and The Force, The Matrix, Bruce Lee and Martial Arts, Peter Pan, Jonathon Livingstone Seagull.
MK Characters to do: Roundoff Arabian, Roundoff Back 360, Raiz, Chuck Up, Roundoff Back 720, Aerial, Frontflip, Webster, Backtuck, Side Flip, Kip Up, Cartwheel Back-Tuck, Kick The Moon, Corkscrew, Butterfly Kick And Twist, Butterfly Twist Swing Through, Butterfly Twist Vault, Parkour Roll, Dive Roll, Round Off, Cartwheel, Handstand, 540 Cresdent, 540 Kick, Backflip Jujimufu, Au Batido, Backflip, Backhand Spring, Cheat Gainer, Double Leg, Flash Kick, Single Leg, Tornado Kick, in the middle of the fights and for cutscenes. If u are hurt, u should get up slower. I only listed moves that are done without touching other objects and mediums and such so it's more than possible for the intro before the fight and in-between the fights and even cutscenes.

U know u could always go for Mirror Edge 1 (Though I presume u finished that 100 times) or wait for Mirror Edge 2 and Dying light.
Parkour is mighty awesome... it just has no place in 2D fighter. and even if it was done for a mini mode like the challenge tower,it will feel cheap and uninspired.

Some of the moves could be used in-between fights and for cutscenes, it looks very ninja-ey (I listed some beginner, intermediate and advanced moves). Do u think characters should be able to use the wall as a medium for some of their parkour moves? I have another list of wall moves.

Shaolin Monks had wall running and such. Works great for that kind of adventure game but I don't think there's any appropriate way to use it in a fighting game, though.

The problem is that if u don't have interactive objects, it would look weird and I believe many would love MK to not have any interactive features that would break the fight.
But yeah in between fight introductory sequence where u play as a character in a first person view (like in Mirror Edge) would make buy two copies.

I'm not saying there should be a a scene about parkour where the character goes from point A to point B. I'm saying just standalone parkour moves or a comination of them for the intro before the fight. I only listed moves that are done without touching other objects and mediums and such so it's more than possible.

If you ever played Xena Warrior Princess: Talisman of Fate, you'd probably somewhat see the purpose of it since it kinda had a great use for it. Especially during Titan Mode.
But then again, Titus did make Superman 64 so...

Was that Xena game a 2D fighting game?

There's a couple parkour based fighters in various movies. One in Die Hard 4, and hell, Bartroc was one in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
So u say there's parkour movement in Xena Warrior Princess: Talisman of Fate? I can't seem to find anything to confirm this. In what way was it used?

No, it was a 3D for the Nintendo 64. Every character had their own jump wall animation and they could do it at any wall in the arena... even the invisible ones.

Jumping invisible walls, so like they could do flips in mid-air? I guess that constitutes as parkour. Here's some parkour moves involving walls: 2 Step Wall Flip, Wall Front, Palm Flip, Wallspin, Wall Flip.

Among his other ideas, this one is a bit more tame. Still acting weird by simply saying the name of moves rather than showing but hey apparently Xena had some parkour put in it.

What about tricking? Tricking doesn't involve obstacles. I'm just saying players should do more acrobatic style martial arts in-between the fights or as get-ups (recovery).

Yeah I definitely think now that characters should be doing tricking in-between fights and for cutscenes, not so much parkour. This is tricking at it's finest

This proves u have deformed ideas for wanting someone wheelbound in MK. I want to see characters show off their athleticism while u want to see handicapped characters. Get a grip!
