Other Mortal characters
I am in favor of use characters from "Killer Instinct" series, "Thrill Kill", "Jackie Chan Fist of Fire" and "Way of the Warrior"... All have great characters that can be put in next MK.
And with a "Kreat a Fighter" to make 50 as the last "Soul Calibur".
And to finish Jason Voorhees as a DLC.
What do you think???
Many person that I talk about think that it's could be a good game...

Please tell me this is a joke. You really thought that the Way of the Warrior and Thrill Kill had great characters? Oh my god...
Also, it's been almost two years since Mortal Kombat 2011 came out... I don't think they would add more DLC.

I think they need to rehire John Tobais so whatever new characters are introduced actually have substance and become fan favorites.
Out of all the new characters from MKDA, MKD, and MKA, only a select few actually became decent characters and earned a strong fan base.
MK's story is Tobais' baby... and Ed Boon & Company dropped it on its head too many times already.

I think MK should give the new characters from MK4-MKA a chance to be revamped. Like how they made Stryker not some fat traffic cop and look more of a badass.

Stryker was never fat... and traffic cops don't pack automatics and grenades, my friend.
The problem with the original Stryker was that FUGLY actor they chose to portray him and his outfit was just a big mother fucking joke.
I mean lol look at this face. Who takes this seriously?
Then we had this failure of an attempt to improve his look...
Safety first kids! Always wear your safety glasses before handling your firearms! You'd think he was about to go sky diving.

Going back to what the OP said, I really don't think MK needs more characters from other video games. I liked Killer Instinct, Way of the Warrior, and Kasumi Ninja back in the day but they simply cannot be compared to Mortal Kombat's originality.
All those games were really just copies of MK and most of those characters were heavily inspired by original Mortal Kombat characters! In other words MK shouldn't reinvent the wheel and just go with the plethora of characters that already exist in it's own universe.

Well they can use for a new game the "secret" fighters as Hornbuckle, Nimbus Terrafaux, Esmerald, Red Robin, Zebron, Aquilluxborg Hydroxybot, Pedro. And characters from movies and series as Siro, Taja, Vorpax, Chan Kang, Art... and from comicbooks as Hydro, Vapor, Bo...
And for a DLC can put Jason Voorhees, Water God, Earth God, Fire God, Fujin... and Jackie Chan.
What do you think.

Really, out of MK4 and on, how many good characters were made?
Kenshi. He's the only character who even had a remote chance of being accpeted. And he was. But others?
Maybe Quan Chi and Fujin, but it about ends there. Really, how many character safter MKDA besides Kenchi are even remotely important anymore? None of them actually made a difference to the story, besides Bo Rai Cho. He was decent.

It is all subjective matter. For example,I really like Kira and Frost, but people say they are copies of Sonya/Kano and Sub-Zero. Gameplay-wise,yeah,but not story-wise...The same with Kenshi, which I don't like. Of course,he is awesome and unique gameplay-wise,swordsman with telekinesis power, but his whole story (MOSTLY) is about avenging to what happened to him. Kinda familiar storyline, don't you think?
But of course, the day John Tobias returns to MK team,is the day I will start drinking for a week from happiness till my liver explodes...

From my experience Quan Chi is by far the most popular of all the new MK4-onwards characters.
There was this poll before we knew the entire roster of MK9 and we voted for DLC characters (you could only vote for MK4-MKA characters) and Quan Chi slaughtered the competition lol. See here (there's a tally of votes on page 4, Poto2222 did it). Granted, it's not a huge pool of votes, but still indicative to some degree. People love Troll Chi.
