A none sleep inducing soundtrack. Seriously, enough with the bland orchestral crap. You can't pull it off NRS. (And the samples they use to compose those tracks sounds like they were ripped right from Xena)

Ugh, I don't want anything oldschool to come back. This is the new Mortal Kombat, they should focus only on new things. New characters, no more of those bland boring old MK1 characters, no more MK Trilogy remakes over and over again like they've been doing since MK3. This game had my hopes up at the beginning even though I was mad they had Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but those characters are kinda no duh. Come on man, they even changed that tired old logo to a much cooler sleeker new contemporary one. But you know what happened, all those butthurt fanboys went "wahh wahh wahh! This is too new for Mortal Kombat, where's Kano and Goro, give use the same old stuff again Ed Boon!" and so Ed Boon did. And now us real MK fans have to deal with all that tired old crap in our MK while the fanboys enjoy their time-void trapped same-old same-old fantasy. I wouldn't be suprised if they had Ed Boon take out D'Vora and Cassie Cage and replace them with more old characters. And if they put all the old characters in they'll probably have to INVENT more old characters before they make new ones. Don't ask me how that makes sense.


I mean, everyone knows Mortal Kombat has nothing to do with iconic beloved characters or what's relevant to the story; video games shouldn't take that crap seriously. The only things I want back out of a new Mortal Kombat game are FIGHTING and FATALITIES. Everything else can be forgotten. NO RETURNING CHARACTERS, NO returning stages, no returning storyline, everything has to be new.


Okay, I'm sorry, I'l be serious now. Just give me the returning MK1 roster all together for a game that isn't all about bringing back the original trilogy again. Think about it; MK2, Sonya and Kano were missing, MK3 Johnny Cage and Raiden were missing, MK4 Kano was missing, Deadly Alliance Liu Kang was missing, Deception Johnny Sonya and Kano were missing, and even MK vs DC Johnny Cage was missing. Trilogy, Armageddon, and MK9 were all compilation rosters. This could be the first non-compilation roster game that gives us all the playable MK1 characters again.
