I feel like a lot of salt is being thrown around because of how sonya looked in the stream but I honestly think that was just the guys inability to show what she can do with her tools.

Some have improved more than others, but all in all every returnee is a step up from previous titles both visually and gameplay-wise.

I've been hearing mixed views with Ermac, and while I never had any strong feelings for the guy, I think having him float and not be jacked like the other male fighters helps him stand out from the rest. I'm also okay with him leaving his ninja look behind.

But for me, I'm gonna go with Sonya. Love her new MK movie Bridgette Wilson look. And I love her new gadgets and drones. Gameplay and costume look 10x better than in MK9.

Can't really say before trying them myself.
So I'm gonna go outside of the playable roster and say Rain (with his majestic royal hair exposed again)

I could say the worst though, at least aesthetically...Ermac.
The putrid corpse look isn't very appealing to me. And on top of that:

now that the Goro trailer is out,Goro's a LOT better than his MK9 version.
He's up there along with Kano and Quan Chi.

Best oldie? Either Ermac for completely moving away from the ninja stuff, or Kitana, who was embarassing before.

Kung Lao is an awesome package as well (looks + gameplay), but since his costume is similar to what he looked like in recent games there's not much of a 'comeback' element there, more like a continuation of a good look.

I like Quan's refreshed look a lot, but I'm not feeling his gameplay at all.

I love Ermac's slim look, but don't like the exposed face, plus his costume is still a continuation/variation on his Deception one (which is fantastic, but again, it's more of a continuation of a good look then a comeback).

Kitana and Mileena looked 'meh' in MK2011 so this indeed is a great comeback for them via great new costumes and their gameplay looks hella fun, while Shinnok's been away for ages and now has an updated, refreshed look that I'm diggin' a lot.
