I agree with this. People will complain about the absence of their favourite regulars, but when they get that, the player base will get bored of the "same old, same old". No matter what NRS does, they're going to be criticized for it, so I think it's better they go for a different direction and promote their new ideas.

Though, personally, as much as I'm loving the new characters, I do hope they leave a few surprises in. It leaves little to get hyped about when they reveal every character and their backstory.

I'd buy the game even if I only knew the stuff we know now. I don't curr. It looks amazing. It's not like I don't know what I'm paying for, it's freaggin MK. So yeah even though I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us, it doesn't really matter in the long run to me.

No, they shouldn't reveal nearly every new characters before release just so idiots who can't give new characters a chance can be given some time to get used to them. How about they show some open-mindedness toward the new characters immediatly when playing the game, instead? Guess that'd be too much to ask, heh?

I swear, I hate "practical" suggestions like these that are always about making morons comfortable. "Huh, let's ease the transition, huh". That's funny, I don't have such an aversion to new characters that I'd need NRS to "lessen the blow" in the suggested manner. I was only a pre-teen when MK3 came out. Back then, I actually liked Scorpion, and was disappointed that he and many classic characters were missing. Yet I didn't get mad at the new characters like so many did.

Besides, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are already confirmed. Shouldn't they be enough? I thought they were the only ones whose absence could seriously harm a new MK game's sales? Are any of the other popular characters THAT popular?

I'd rather see NRS hold off on ever reveal so there's some surprises when the game is finally release. And I hope they learned how to stop leaks from happening in their netcode. Seriously, there needs to be no fucking leaks this time. It's getting annoying knowing everything about the game before playing it.
