Cassie's is terrible.

Jacqui's is short and sweet but if it isn't over the top it can't be liked apparently. Oh well. It is a perfectly fine.

Shinnok's are kinda lame but his gameplay has all around been underwhelming.

Sub-zero's second is a nice twist on a classic.

Ferra/Torr's is great.

Mileena's is certainly better than her first one.

Kung Lao's is a lot more creative than I thought it would be.

Quan Chi's is nothing new but I didn't expect anything too spectacular from him. Not that I hate it completely though.

Scorpion's is average. Was kind of hoping we'd get something more creative since he has a ton of fatality potential.

Kano's is another one that isn't over the top but it is brutal. Nothing flashy but something that is on Lee Christmas (Expendables) level of knife throwing. Overall I like it.

Sonya's is boring. Sonya is boring. Neither fatality does anything for me and is just more of a reason never to pick Sonya for me.

Kitana's is definitely something different for her so it gets points from me. Not that I care for the fatality itself too much but at least it isn't the same crap we have been getting from her for years.

D'vorah's isn't bad but I wish we got something different.


Ermac's was cool the first few times I saw it. After that it is still cool and all but it lost its luster.

Reptile's has a cool concept but it could have been executed a bit better. It looks like they just fall instead of melt into the acid
Also the head just disappears. Wouldn't the floor melt if it was that acidic? Good concept poor execution.

Kenshi's is awesome. He definitely got some great fatalities this game.

I think that covers all of the ones I have watched so far.

I liked Cassie's second fatality it may not be over the top brutal, and silly but taking a selfie with someone you just killed and posting it on social media is disturbing imo. But I also liked Mileena, Kitana, Scorpion, Sub Zero and so far that's all I seen. And how the hell Shinnok's fatalities are lame? The first one was a nice remake from his MK 4 fatality

Though I can't help but think how weird it's gonna be when performed on her parents...but eh, that feeling will go away after a few times.

Liu Kang's is great. Something new for him is always welcomed.

I can only hope next time we get to see the Dragon and Cartwheel kicks come back somehow, even though his second fatality and pretty much everything he has in this one is really fucking awesome.

I think Cassie's is brilliant! It's pretty nasty, but also hilarious and full of personality.

Both of Kenshi's fatalities look great, and I like Mileena's too. Kitana's are a huge improvement over MK9.

Unfortunately I think Sonya once again has the worst fatalities - why won't they bring back her kiss of death!? They could make it far more interesting than these stupid drone ones.

Jax is the best one.

Kenshi hands down has the best fatalities, closely followed by Ermac's second one, and Kano's first one. Those fatalities really struck a reaction and if were playing as that character those specific fatalities would always be used.

Considering females only, I think Mileena some of the better ones and D'vorah's are decent. All cool, but nothing major.

Overall the fatalities fall into "repeat the better one if I like the character and swap from time to time with other -alities", "I'd rather perform something else or uppercut", or "avoid losing to this character, so I don't have to watch that lame fatality" for me.

I know it is difficult when trying to do something cool, but I think NRS should be a little more conscientious of the graphics when designing fatalities. Things like the entrance of Quan Chi's sword into a masked characters mouth (first fatality) and Kano's knife awkwardly sticking through a pony tail (second fatality) really stick out. Having the characters face a different direction seems like a simple fix for that....

I love shinnok's and kenshi's !

Dishonourable mentions to Shinnoks as they're too similar, Raidens two.

Although some were really most of the fatalities for me were a bit disappointing. A lot of 'holes in the head' and decapitations. Where are more of the magical fatalities.

Kenshis 2nd one just fucks me up everytime I see it.

Cassie Cage selfie fatality is the greatest thing I've ever seen

My favorite is probably Cassie's selfie fatality. It's just completely over the top and ridiculous that I can't help but bust out laughing. Sonya's fatalities in contrast are complete crap especially her second one. Does she now have a thing for collecting bloody skulls and wearing them as an accessory now? Doesn't make any sense.

I'm not a fan of the fatalities this time around.. I will be using brutalities in their place probably 90% of the time. With that said, my favorite fatality is Johnny Cage's head smashing. Not because it's the goriest or that he's my favorite character (he's not), but because it made me burst out laughing.. The sounds the head makes in combination with how fast it goes is just hysterical IMO.

Cassie's selfie fatality was just genius. The duck face pout, the comments from other kombatants. I love it.
